At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
A story that's too fascinating to pass by...
It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
Osric Chau needs to go back to Supernatural - no one ever stays dead forever there, and he would actually have something good to act in! He's too good for a POS like this, IMO. This movie....I knew 2 mins after hubby put it on it was crap. Wish I could give zero stars.
The effort it must have taken to make a movie this bad is incredible. I would recommend "Cats Being Scared By Cucumbers" on Youtube as a more intelligent alternative.
... if you have enough time to waste, enough money to waste, even though you should not go to the theater. and if you love to spend a good time yourself, please, don't try this at home! ... the director himself will not able to watch this movie, how can you!?!
Production quality is good and the stunts are ok but the story is bad and the dialogue is cringe-worthy throughout.
