I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

Satan, I mean, Malcolm McDowell, because you produced the movie and played the role of Satan, can I sue you? I have more accusations against you. Do not get me wrong, I love you, you're one of my favorite actors, "A Clockwork Orange" is one of the best movies ever made, BUT, what's this bad joke? Could not find a better script? Apart from you, everything is pathetic, stupid, deadly boring, childish. Everything is stupid, starting with the story and ending with the play of all actors. Embarrassing! And, is not Satan who invented the noise and all he's accused of in the movie. Mister McDowell, you have to make at least two very good movies, close to the level of "A Clockwork Orange", to forgive you this sin called "Suing the Devil"(2011). There are a lot of reviews that say only superlative stuff about this movie, which shows how stupid or how fake the writers are. Fake and cowards, because they do not have the courage to tell the truth, that the movie is very bad, probably for the fear of God, Jesus, the Bible, faith, etc. Because the movie talks about all that. I am convinced that God and Jesus are ashamed of such a film, it does not do any service, on the contrary. You are not good Christians liking this film, you are just simply stupid! One star for Malcolm, that's all!

What a god awful movie. Most of the actors are worse than what you will find in a small towns community theater. Over the top, stilted, terrible acting that makes the whole thing (as stupid as the premise is)even worse.I don't know how they got a couple of the actors in this film, McDowell for example... they must have thrown a lot of money at him, for this film is a steaming pile of garbage.Premise- Man angry at mothers death sues the devil in court. Low and behold, Satan shows up to defend himself with a team of lawyers. Throw in a bunch of bible thumping "Jesus died for our sins" about 200 times, over acting by the entire cast...Not worth the time to watch, again, unless you are an ultra Christian.

I still cant believe that this is considered as an actual "serious" movie This piece of crap is so bad that I cant even call it anything else than crap sorry, this is not about religion even if one is fundamentalist or very religious he/she cant possibly like this nonsense first of all script was so absurd that I couldn't believe all those who people seriously agreed to be a part of this farce! But considering their rubbish acting skills and performance it is easy to see that they were very desperate.Timothy A. Chey should be jailed for this or religious people should burn him at the stake this is an insult to even religion.I feel offended as a Christian and as an admirer of the art of propaganda he obviously doesn't know what he is doing and lacks the proper skills to make even a bad movie because this is not a bad movie this is blatant nonsense don't waste your time pls

Before I begin, I want to separate Malcolm Mcdowell's performance from the rest of the "movie", and treat them separately. This "movie" ran more like a two bit amateur western suburbs protestant (pick your denomination) church attempt at film than a movie to be taken seriously. The actors didn't know if they were Australian or American, opting for accents that weren't quite either. Their performances were stilted, rigid, and unnatural. The dialog was tedious, nonsensical, and boorish. I mean, really, who goes around all day talking like the characters in this movie...other than the most intolerable bible thumpers? And the court room scenes...don't get me started on those. I mean, even law and order comes somewhat close to accuracy. Even judge Judy has an actual judge! But this....this made both shows look like videographic authorities on procedure.Whoever made this took an idea that could have made an excellent movie...suing the devil! It could have been light with dark undertones, and could have had subtle philosophical depth. It seems like whoever made it was so focused on pushing this ideological axe they had to grind...so driven to send out their message, that they neglected the simplest of things about making a good movie. They thought the message itself was enough, however delivered. Instead it came across amateur, unbelievable and tacky. On the other hand, Malcolm Mcdowell was brilliant as always. The perfect villain plays the ultimate one (well...if you believe christians, that is). His performance was flawless, and was the only reason I didn't give the movie a 1. But the whole movie I couldn't help but wonder why he would be part of such an awful production.
