There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

There are great comedies, like Monty Python and the Holy Grail or Death At A Funeral. There are terrible comedies, like Evan Almighty or The Smurfs. Then there's this turd which needs no introduction. This film fails on every level. Nothing about this works. Fred is not only annoying and unlikable, he gets creepy in parts, because he's stalking some girl he thinks is hot. Wow, so smooth, Fred. The acting is terrible as well. Lucas whatever the heck his last name is should have stayed on YouTube (Or just disappear. The videos suck too). He is a terrible actor who brings nothing funny or at least unique to the character. All he does is make annoying voices, that's it. The same goes for the rest of the cast.Okay, there's like one actor/character I did like; John Cena. I give him props for being in this piece of crap and actually giving a charismatic performance that was so random it made me laugh, but the rest of the movie is so cruel and grueling to sit through that I forgot about him until he showed up again.Don't watch this, bye bye.

If I could give this piece of crap a 0/10, I would. Heck, I'd go far enough to give it a -10/10, that meaning this film offers NOTHING ENTERTAINING WHATSOEVER.First off, you have the worst YouTuber of all time as the main character. This is a guy that jump-cuts after every high-pitched sentence he utters from his filthy little mouth, in a desperate attempt to make sure he doesn't lose the attention of the toddlers watching him, because in all honesty, that's likely the age group he appeals to in his web shorts. He is an all-out assault on your eyes and ears, and will not stop until you've either muted the video or destroyed your laptop. He's unfunny, immature, loud, aggravating, obnoxious, and above all, pathetic. And how he became the first YouTuber to gain a million subscribers is a clear sign that the internet is REALLY messed up.So having to put up with him for 80 solid minutes in his own film, which soon grew into an abysmal movie trilogy somehow, is outright TORTURE.Seriously, the acting is the worst I've ever heard in a movie, the script and screenplay are a complete disgrace, several scenes in this movie are either awkward, or are bound to make you feel unclean for witnessing them, and at least 95% of this film consists of nothing but filler, or scenes designed specifically to make the main character look like a complete moron, as that's apparently what the film crew confuse for comedy in this piece of sh*t.This film will mentally and physically harm you in every possible fashion. Stay as far away from this piece of trash as you possibly can... for your own good.Screw Lucas Cruikshank for coming up with Fred, screw modern Nickelodeon for letting this travesty premiere on their channel, and Screw! This! Movie!

Highs: There were one or two jokes that were funny.Lows: Of course, for a comedy movie, "one or two funny jokes" is a tremendous failure. This movie was about as funny as Man of Steel. Fred is not funny. His screams are obnoxious, his voice is annoying, and he's a terrible actor. The plot is an incoherent mush based on a creepy stalker premise. Fred is completely disconnected from reality, and as a viewer, you'll wish you were disconnected from this movie. Frankly, this movie is stupid. Unbelievably so. Dumb as bricks. Perhaps dumber. Verdict: There was nothing good about this movie. Don't watch it, you'll save a couple of brain cells. Thank me later.

The "Fred" schtick was maybe good for a one-time YouTube gag a long time ago. It was pathetic that Nickelodeon picked it up and ran with it. This film has no redeeming value whatsoever. It's like 90 minutes of fingernails on a blackboard. Lucas Cruikshank has got to be one of the least talented people to ever grace a screen, big or small. There's no plot worth having. There's no character development because there's nothing to develop. The few recognizable faces in the cast are wasted and should be ashamed for stooping to this level. When would have even John Cena thought this was a decent project to pursue? "Fred: The Movie" is unfunny, grating, and worthless for anyone beyond a three-year-old's mentality.
