One of my all time favorites.
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Blistering performances.
How do things like effects and acting get worse and worse as the actors get older and more experienced and technology gets more advanced? This movie is pretty bad. The story is mostly filler, most of the characters are underdeveloped or unlikable. Nothing is explained. The only reason anyone would watch this movie is because they are invested in the series. On its own, this movie isn't very good. Yes, there is some entertainment to be found - but it is mindless entertainment. This movie is too long and uninspired by anything more creative than money.
Great visual effects very exciting loved it so much i am a fan of harry potter after this one
This is my favorite series of Harry Potter. In short, this series is the adventure of Harry Potter, who is the main character of this series, with the scar on his forehead. He and his friends have an adventure using the magic. In this movie, they have a battle with his rival, Lord Voldemort. However, in the battle, one of Harry's fellow, Sirius Black is killed. Harry's name is given by him, so he is like a father. Harry has very strong courage. He challenges a lot of difficulties boldly. Of course, I like the story, but I like the effect in each scene more than that. In battle scene, the CG is used to express the magic. That is very real and has much impact. That attracts me into the screen, so because of it I can enjoy the story and visual fully. Not only this movie, but also other movies are very interesting, so you should watch it.
Directed by David YatesStarring: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert GrintOverall: This is a pretty good movie and does well as an entry to the Harry Potter franchise but it doesn't work well as a movie on its own whereas some Harry Potter movies do.Good:1. Daniel Radcliffe is excellent as Harry Potter and gives new layers to him, not seen before in the franchise.2. Rupert Grint and Emma Watson do good as Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.3. Michael Gambon does an incredible job as Professor Dumbledore.4. Gary Oldman does an infinitely better job as Sirius Black.5. Alan Rickman is Alan Ricman. Enough said.6. Maggie Smith, Matthew Lewis, Bonnie Right and Jason Isaacs all do great jobs as Professor McGonoga, Nevile Longbottom, Ginny Weasley and Lucius Malfoy respectively. 7. Evanna Lynch is a new addition in the form of Luna Lovegood and is an amazing character with an incredible performance. 8. Now for two of the most cold, heartless fictional women in history: Bellatrix Lestrange(Helena Bonham Carter) and Dolores Umbridge(Imelda Staunton). I imagine both these actresses are very nice people in real life but, in this movie, they are two of the most hatable people on the planet. They deserve props for that because it is truly spectacular what they did.9. Despite being in short supply, the action is this movie is absolutely incredible and the final sequence is one of the best in the franchise.Bad:1. I really hated the individual story for this movie and the prophecy concept did nothing to amaze me.2. Some scenes were pretty poorly shot and looked horrible.3. Some effects, such as the broomsticks, are horrific and look god awful.4. The whole appearance of Lord Voldermort wasn't needed and just felt out of place.8/10
