I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Boring
Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
Leo swore on his mothers grave that he wasn't a "fawking cawp" but he was lying because he was a cawp. Very sad!
Twistful, masterly crafted and shocking in parts this is a brilliant film. With argument for it being Scorsese's best the all star cast deliver a truly special film that's rewarding to watch, I highly recommend
She had to love her character! I loved her character as I imagined myself being her character! Cheesy, I know. I'm way late to the board but, THIS MOVIE KILLED IT! All (sexy) star cast, banging Scorsese director and the creative Monohan writer. Movies like this make me sit up late at night regretting never going to LA. I watch these talented artists, thinking what if I would have said yes after being approached by a certain director. It sounded to good to be true. Until I realized it was real and not a creepy guy. At least I get to watch these amazing films from my spot in Independence, KY. EVERYONE should be so proud of themselves for creating this masterpiece! -Julz
When I saw this movie-great movie-back in 2006 when I lived in Washington DC and attended the George Washington University; I watched it with an African American Woman who was a fellow college student. I loved the movie-one of the best Boston movies behind Live By Night featuring Ben Affleck. The first thing my buddy Alexandria said about the movie was this: " I love-sarcastically-how the only Black Woman feature in the film was a whore"! I never thought about it until I saw the movie again that she was right. There were very few Black Woman features in this movie but the only main one featured Jack Nicholson and a Black Prostitute in the theater. What is up with that?
