The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
After two films showcasing the adventures of the whip-wielding, world-traveling archeologist Indiana Jones, Director Steven Spielberg brought the adventures much more close to home in the third film of the franchise. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade sports one of the greatest begins to a film in the history of modern cinema, showing the audience exactly where Indiana Jones began his adventures and gained all of the iconic parts of his persona. This film also introduces audiences to Indiana Jones' father, Henry Jones Sr. played by the esteemed Sean Connery. We are treated to the tense, complicated relationship Indiana has with his father stemming from Jones Sr.'s obsession with finding the Holy Grail. As Indiana races to recover the Grail and his father before the Nazis do, Spielberg takes his audience on the ride of a lifetime all across the world. Technically speaking this film is close to flawless besides a few distracting losses of focus during the scene with the tank fight and one of the more beautiful parts about this film is its continued legacy of utilizing practical effects and props instead of relying upon computerized special effects. One of the best installments in one of the most revered and beloved film franchises in the history of filmmaking, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is a true wonder of cinema and all those whom consider themselves to be film experts or critics should watch this film.
Adventure action at its best, fascinating Chemistry between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery, and of course John Williams with his enthralling magnificent Music. One of my Favorite movies.
Truly great blend of high adventure and simply wonderful humor. Sean Connery as Indy's father is absolutely fantastic and the banter between these two is great. The ending sequence is one of my favorite endings and a really iconic scene. Easily my favorite Indy movie, an absolute blast from start to finish!
Well this ain't one of the best movies of all time. But it's my favorite and the reason I love movies. Indiana jones is the 4th best movie charactor in the history, after Han Solo, Forrest Gump and Red (the shawshank redemption). I love everything about this movie from start to finish. The opening scene is perfect, the ending is beatufil and an amazing plot. The chemestry between Harrison Ford and Sean Conery is lovely, beatiful and funny. Every scene in this film has something good, great or fantastic in it. A reason that continues the plot. The fight scenes are good, as is the humor. Old charactors from Raiders of the lost ark returns to provide great preformances. There is nothing bad about this movie. The pace is really good and you always stay focused and in the end you don't want it to end. This is maybe not a masterpiece in many peoples opinions. Although it is a damm great movie you can rewatch atleast 10 times and still find intresting.
