The Worst Film Ever
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

A bad cgi is a bad cgi, a bad story is a bad story and a bad movie sequel? is a bad movie sequel and 'Starship Troopers 3: Marauder' is actually just that with it's weird comedy, awful perfomances and even worse of a plot it makes. (0/10)
This movie had to have the worst plot I have ever seen and some of the most ignorant individuals and their rolls
Some planet colony of the federation is being run over by bugs. The leader of the federation who doubles as a pop star arrives with some other higher ups most of which are Rico's friends. When things are hopeless they escape in a pod and end up in a bug planet. Rico ends up jailed and sentenced for execution. There was always something odd about the leader- a religious aspect, and he doesn't quite see the bugs as enemies, and the bugs, too, seem to leave him alone. Some other female boss takes over the federation impersonating the leader and not sending a rescue mission to find him. That's too much for Rico's friend who helps him escape and forms a squad of mech warriors to find and rescue the leader. They also discover the real intentions of a bug brain they've held in captivity.Meanwhile the group on bug planet finds out there is indeed something very wrong with the leader who seeks to make contact with a bug god.Starship Troopers 3 sure is campy and it delights in being campy. There are a lot of federation ads and infomercials. There's a whole religious angle that makes no sense to me. Performances are alright by the main actors, the secondary ones are more problematic. Practical effects are very good and there is some decent gore. CGI effects are pretty awful though, and there are a lot of them unfortunately. The story itself is actually pretty good, but the movie is too long. When you're doing a small budget B movie why not tighten things up a bit. But if it's true that the budget for this movie was around 9 million, they sure got a lot of bang for their buck. Exterior sets in South Africa are neat. Starship Troopers 3 is enjoyable if you are not embarrassed by campiness. Unfortunately you can't really connect or care for any character other than Rico, but he isn't in a good part of the movie. I like this series and hope to see more entries.
I really enjoyed the first film. The second, well, after the second you know that the third one will suck big time. Take a look for yourself. Extremely low budget, ridiculous story, bad acting, ugly CGI... Now, Edward Neumeier who wrote all Robocop films, including TV series and more, brought us this despicable gem, which was... spiced with Christianity... wtf? Casper Van Dien, who is still appearing in these straight to DVD film, you can see that his acting career has failed. None of the actors did a good job, even Amanda Donohoe, she was just there for a tough chick commander role. There's nothing special to say about this film... really nothing, except that pretty much liked the part where chosen solders are launched in their "Marauder" armors and kicking the s**t out of bugs. Other things... nothing. For the end, the ugly thing - the Christianity. I don't understand... that was unnecessary in this film. Let alone in some futuristic film. There is a God in universe, we must marry in church, blah blah... That really irritated me. We also had a conflict between theist and atheist and in the end, the theist wins... whoopee! But, the theist chick was hot... so, I wasn't that irritated. So, 59% of the film comes down that there is a God in space... I really don't recommend this film to anyone. Well, if you are a Christian, you'll love it. Maybe.
