Really Surprised!
Better Late Then Never
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Safety Not Guaranteed The chemistry among the characters isn't explored and neither is detailed or given enough range and room to the viewers and also the actors to perform and factor in accordingly to justify the occurring events and the actions of the characters. The camera work could have been a lot better and neither is shot pleasingly to impress the audience and is short on other technical aspects like background score and editing too. The writing is strong and has potential premise to feed off the audience throughout its run time (of almost 90 minutes which is short and to-the-point and works in its favor) . Colin Trevorrow; the director, has done a decent work on executing but lacks to communicate with the audience through its characters and unfortunately verbal sparring too. The performance isn't convincing especially coming from the lead actors (Aubrey Plaza and Mark Duplass) makes it more disappointing. It hits hard and fast and moves swiftly in front of the viewers but the issue in here is that it fails to create the anticipated impact on screen. Safety Not Guaranteed is a risk not worth taking as it all narrows down to a moot point that the makers sweat to make.
Very slow, but its worth it. Great ending, but the last words of the ending could have been better. These two things helped bring the film down a couple notches. Plus it also didn't stay true to the ad in the paper, which had inspired this story-line. Add in a small plot hole near the end, and a 9 of 10 movie becomes a 7 of 10. But they can be forgiven for these small sins. You've got to give credit to the producers who made this on a 4 thousand dollar budget, and made 4 million out of it. Who am I to nit-pick that kind of success? It's these kind of shoestring budget movies, few as they are in this quality, that makes Hollywood look like an idiots playground. Even with its problems, its well worth the watch, based upon the total package of being a sci-fi love story that works. This came out in 2012, near the same time as "The Adjustment Bureau" film. Sadly, these two didn't start a trend. Like all good films, it makes you think, after the final credits roll. I myself have always said, that regrets are for people with time machines. After all, we were who we were back then. But I'm also a sucker for a good film, or even just a good love story, that tries to answer those regrets.
A lady, who works in a publishing company, looks unhappy. Her life was changed because of her mother's death. She and two men go to a town to collect a data, which is about time-slip. Because a man tries to invite people to do time-slip together. And he is regarded as an eccentric. But the poor lady has a good relationship with the man as a company. In other hands, one of her companies fights a challenge as a virgin, and another of it meets an ex-girlfriend. And her feeling is changed more and more. This story's characters has their own problems each. In ways of solving them, this story describes some of emotional developments, especially it involves with love. The way of approaching is various. This shows that love can change people and tells us that love is important. Also a theater of this story is a part town, but there is no lively. As if this describes these character's state of mind. It is useful to express the feelings of the characters.
This is a love story. Dalius is an inter-ship student. She wants to go back to the past. Simularly, Kenneth wants to go to back past in order to help a woman who he loves so that he made time machine. In the beginning, Dalius meets Kenneth in order to report for article, but gradually they like each other. In particular, Kenneth makes several things secret in the beginning but gradually talks about himself to Dalius. on the other hand, I'm interested in Jeff. Jeff is a journalist. In fact, Jeff tries to meet Liz who is relationship between Jeff. Though Jeff meets Liz and together over night, Liz refuse to live together . I think Jeff realize that youth is not long. Jeff takes Arno and pick up three girls and go theme park. Jeff cries. Jeff makes Arno be together overnight with a girl. In the last, I think Dalius feel Kenneth's kind so Dalius becomes feminine.
