Fantastic!

It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

What starts out as a smart satire on the rich, valley-girl socialite society, cleverly inverted to be seen from the inside, soon becomes a much more nuanced affair with the focus on character rather than stereotype and conveying the usual but effective messages of being true to yourself no matter what others think, not judging a book by its cover, being nice to your fellow human and being the best version of yourself you can possibly be. 'Legally Blonde (2001)' gets all of this across remarkably well and, unusually, none of its ideals are ever diluted or corrupted, even during some of the flick's sillier scenes (a pseudo dance number sticks out as the strangest) and some ever-so-slightly problematic moments (more due to an early 2000s ignorance than ill-intent). It's when the film stops poking fun at the protagonist and starts to expertly put you in her fish-out-of-water shoes that it sets itself apart from others of the kind, keeping a kind heart and ending up wonderfully endearing and crowd-pleasing affair. The central character arc is actually really well drawn and realised, with a tangible difference between what she wants and needs, which means the inevitable completion of that arc is extremely satisfying and, actually, quite uplifting. 7/10

I have a bachelors degree in style design from CULA, and I was a Zeta Lambda New sweetie, president of my fraternity Delta New, and last year I was homecoming king. Oh! Two weeks ago I saw Ashton Kutcher at Fred Segal and I talked him out of buying this truly heinous angora sweater. Whoever said green was the new blue was seriously disturbed. Reese Witherspoon is seriously sooo cute as Elle Woods. I totally want to kiss her. Reese's unambiguously not a dumb blonde, see, she's got the looks and the smarts, and I would never dump her in a billion years since Reese is funner than anybody I can think of. I loove Holland Taylor and Jessica Cauffiel and Alanna Ubach are both so sweet! Bruiser is the best. Oh! Selma Blair is way prettier than Reese Witherspoon. Legally Blonde is so funny, and Elle Woods Harvard Video Essay is by far my favorite part, irrefutably.

Legally Blonde is a romantic comedy. It is a very famous movie in America, and it has two sequels. This movie is the first story of the series, and it was nominated for 2 Golden Globes. It stars Reese Witherspoon, and is directed by Robert Luketic. The story is about a blonde girl Elle Woods. She is so pretty and a queen of the lady's social club, and she has a smart and cool boyfriend. However, she is dumped by him because she is not smart. She decides to follow him to school(Harvard Law School) and studies very hard. Finally, she can enroll in the school and after the enrollment, she notices she has more legal ability than her past boyfriend. At the end of the story, she becomes a lawyer and gets a new boyfriend who is more intelligent and cooler than her old boyfriend! The story is funny but it can give you a lot of encouragement and motivation to do something. Moreover, one of my favorite messages is not to judge people only by appearance. In this movie, Elle Woods is considered not smart because of her hair and colorful clothes, but she can work harder than anyone. The story has many other messages. If you haven't watched it yet, you should check it out!

Legally BlondeThe classic "chic-flick." The feel good movie. Actor Reese Witherspoon plays college student Elle Woods, a charming, bubbly, and kind heart-ed Los Angeles sorority girl who positively impacts the lives of everyone she encounters. After being dumped by Warner, her Harvard Law-bound boyfriend, Elle is heartbroken. He expressed to Elle that he is obligated to marry, "a Jackie not a Marylyn." Not taking no for an answer, Elle decides to follow her heart and leave her sorority and attend Harvard Law in order to win him back. Reese's excellent acting, production elements, and the overall message of the film will leave you wanting more. With her bleach blonde hair and designer clothing, she is seen as a Barbie doll, or a "dumb blonde", before being credited for her intelligence and positive influence on others. Reese portrays Elle perfectly, in an extremely comical way yet still particularly believable. Her tone of voice can change drastically based on her mood, and her humor is contagious. She carries a great deal of confidence and charisma with her, and speaks with such positive's to everyone which is special to watch. Elle encourages others to do their best which makes being the viewer inspirational because you feel like you are able to take the motivation and positive's that Elle shows in the film, and use in it your own personal life. Elle's life is a roller-coaster of excitement, which means sororities, men, crazy friendships, and lots of fun and glamour which is a treat in itself to watch. The camera work is pleasing to the eyes, and the soundtrack is agreeable to the ears. In the beginning of the movie when the sorority was first introduced, the camera frame perfectly captured the essence of what the common audience would picture a sorority to look like: the women were working out, putting on make-up, and doing their hair while upbeat music played in the background, which effectively set the scene and gave the audience the knowledge of where Elle Woods comes from. Sure, that could be boring to watch if you are not interested in stereotypical "chick-flicks." However, the sarcasm and humor that the characters use appeal to anyone and everyone. Elle's life can make anyone envious and the camera work, and the soundtrack only add to the pleasure. Every song fits the emotional state of Elle Woods, which can range from heart break, to over the moon with joy. Overall this movie will make you laugh until you cry, and just plain ole' cry from the emotional connection you feel from the characters in Elle's life. This movie can boost your spirits by making you feel that anything is possible. Following Elle's relationship and life journey is an experience that will keep you guessing and laughing all the way through the film. Whether you just got out of a relationship, need a little motivation or are just looking for a good laugh this light heart-ed movie will appeal to any of your needs.
