The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

This movie was kind of short with a disappointing ending that could have been dragged out longer, but otherwise I really liked it. It was really well done with the fear factor and really played with my emotions, especially seeing everybody go through pain and suffer. Combs was a very strong actor and really made the movie more interesting, and he did make it seem like at the beginning that the game wasn't going to be too bad, but wow is that wrong. I'd suggest watching if you are into more gore and violent movies

Honestly, the acting was fair. The plot, however, and the execution thereof, left too many loose ends and seemed like it was written by a middle-schooler. I assume the ending was meant to be a shocker, and it was. But for all the wrong reasons. The first feeling I got when I saw the last scene was that I was sick over wasting my time and 2 hours of my life on this movie. Strangely enough, the second thought I had was that the producers either did this on purpose or were just hacks. The premise was a draw; it had potential. The story-line was absolute barf. Really disgraceful to have even made it to a movie. However, there were too many loopholes and disappointments in the reality of what would have actually happened if this had really taken place. That's what made it unbelievable, without relation, and tied together as though it was thought up and brought about over-night with some Jagermeister, and without any real thought or passion. Basically, they had a great idea, and executed it half-assed. The ending pretty much buried it as deep as it should have gone. Straight into the ground. I'm sorry. But I hate when someone takes a great premise and absolutely butchers it. This review will probably make you want to watch it. Congrats!

PROS: The thing that I liked most about this movie would have to be the acting. You had people who could show genuine terror as well as actors who showed true insanity. The movie offered you such a wide variety of characters which was nice because I was given my own would you rather. Would I rather this person dies, or this person. I also really liked how light hearted the movie felt. I understand how dark the movie is, so it was quite nice to have a release character to sort of break up the darkness. This sort of dark comedic vibe lasted through the entirety of the film, even the ending, which I liked, had a slight humor to it.CONS: This movie lagged. If there is anything at all that I hate the most in horror movies are movies that build slowly, or not at all, for no specific reason. This was one of those movies. I couldn't tell if the climax happened 25 minutes too soon, or they just didn't have one. Either way I felt bored. The final and most perilous thing would be the aggravation this movie caused me. I went in to the move expecting to see gore, because the movie is a torture film, but I barely saw any blood. They really missed the mark on this one.www.chorror.com

I just finished watching this movie, and oh my god...... i have just wasted 93 minutes of my life. In the first act of the movie, before the game, we are introduced to Iris. Our main character, she is having financial troubles, and has to take care of her brother, whom we find out later, is waiting for a bone marrow transplant. She is called to the clinic and is introduced to Shepard Lambert. He owns a foundation, and is willing to help her and her brother, given they participate in a game. Time passes, and we follow Iris to the Lambert House, where she is introduced to the other characters. They eat dinner, where Shepard, pays Iris, who is a vegetarian, $5,000 to eat the steak. Shepard pays another character, who's name escapes me, $50,000 to drink a bunch of alcohol, because he is a recovering alcoholic. Then the game begins.This presents my first major issue with this attempt at a film. THERE IS NO SUSPENSE At ALL IN THE ENTIRE FILM. Seeing that the film spends at least 20 minutes introducing Iris, and no one else, there is no doubt as to who will win the game, its like watching a gladiatorial fight between a roman legion, and a house cat.In the end, after Iris wins, surprise surprise, her brother is dead. because Iris did bad things, I guess? The fact that the brother dies is the shittiest thing in this movie. There is no good conclusion, no reason for Iris to do the awful thing(s) she did. If there was a more satisfying conclusion, i would probably give the movie a better score, but it didn't, so i didn't.P.S. Also, really, does every movie that has a creepy dude need a rape scene? For real?
