It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

There really isn't too much to add to the other reviews; this movie is dreadful. The special effects are worse than anything I've seen since the 70s. The audio/sound-fx are horrific. The acting is uninspired. There is no story and what they've attempted doesn't fit in with any part of the Highlander-universe.The best part of of the series was, of course, the sword fights. Rather than choreograph a fight here, they've elected to take a picture of the characters and jiggle it at high speed around the set. Seriously, I could make a better fight scene with my great-grandmother and a tortoise.Do not under any circumstances consider watching or buying this horrific piece of nonsense.

My brother managed to watch all of the Highlander movies and ranted and raved about this (not in a good way) and the more I heard about it the more I wanted to see it.The plot is extremely confusing but I'll just say it anyway. In a post-apocalyptic world a random immortal tells the Watchers that he has found the co-ordinates to The Source of immortal's power (Wasn't that The Quickening?) and gets killed the guardian. Duncan, his new wife, Methos, The watchers and an immortal priest with a blonde Mohawk (I kid you not) travels to find this source.Okay, now I've explained the plot in it's simplest terms I am going to tell you the problems I have with this movie.First of all The Guardian moves faster than the speed of light and yet a car is able to hit him and knock him down. You have many flaws like that but now I'm just going to talk about things on a technical level.Nothing in this movie looks real. The backgrounds of almost every single shot makes MirrorMask's background look authentic. Not to mention the fact that Highlander at it's root is an action film yet you realize that the director has absolutely no clue for how to direct action. Instead of being on the edge of your seat thinking "okay the good guy is about to take down this bad guy" as good action films do you're left with "What the hell is going on?" because you really have no idea.The one real beef I have though is that Highlander Endgame is actually a Highlander sequel that did things right. They could take the series in whatever direction they wanted. Why the hell would you take it in this direction? So if you want to watch it then that is fine but don't say I didn't warn you. There really is almost nothing good to say about it. I am only going to watch The original, Endgame and The Search For Vengeance and if you want to watch the only good Highlander films then even if you don't like them they'll be better than this.

Highlander sequels have never had a glowing reputation. If I was to say it, there are only 3 Highlander films worth watching (Highlander 1, Highlander: Endgame & Highlander: The Search For Vengeance) and this movie makes them look like they should be in the Hollywood hall of fame.Before I start, let me say it is nearly impossible for me to rate something 1/10, I try and find something to compliment even if I thought it was crap (so much so that I gave Highlander 2 a 2/10).What makes this film so bad that Highlander 2 fairs a better rating? Everything that a Highlander protagonist has, Duncan(at least in this film) has not. Adrian Paul is a good actor but like Christopher Lambert is overshadowed by a really awful script that highlights him for no reason, "your impossible to corrupt", Yeah, Byee.Everything a Highlander fan will tell you about this is probably true, a priest with a blonde Mohawk, a guy that moves faster than the speed of light gets knocked down by a car, Post apocalyptic world where everyone can get enough fuel, red mist appearing and disappearing while inside a cemetery etc. There will be plenty for someone to criticize.Overall, there is no other way to describe it, this film is crap.
