Excellent but underrated film
Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
Like a car accident in the next lane, I watched 30 minutes of this, wondering if it was ever going to get any less uncomfortable. Eventually, I drove past the accident, then I couldn't even see it in my mirror, and I found something else to watch.
Truly bizarre. I feel like 2 precious hours of my life have been held down and molested. This movie is reminiscent of a low budget one woman show that no one even wants free tickets to. I even dusted off this account just so I could complain about how bad it was. Now if you'll excuse me, I am in desperate need of a shower to cleanse myself of this rubbish.
I can't believe the low rating of this movie. When this imbecile Captain America Civil War gets over 8, I just wonder if some people here have any cinematographic knowledge or appreciation of the work done on the movies. Pity that so many won't see this marvel because of this low rating. This movie is remarkable in all levels and very entertaining. The performance of Kristen Wiig is simply incredible. Many know her from her time in SNL and many will agree that she was absolutely delightful, excellent, hilarious in all those sketches like The Californians, the stupid girl chewing her gum and so on. All the actors on this movie are great. Tim Robbins (who has become a super handsome daddy) as the psychiatrist is really good. I would give an Oscar to Kristen Wiig! And now that I have seen this movie, I will definitely give a try with Ghostbusters. I am sure that it is good too.
This type of movie just makes me want to go back and watch youtube videos, where this type of awful story/production/humor is expected for someone filming in his own bedroom. Boring, bad pretending to be funny and just pointless. It should also be said that the acting is good, but for this type of story it does not bring anything to it. How valuable is an actor playing a "bad at acting" character with mental issues? Not much, in my book. Good actors playing bad characters, mind numbing awful drama and a ridiculously frivolous ending, which was the only thing I didn't expect by the end of it. I was expecting it to get pretentious in an effort to hide the bad under a veneer of "art imitating life imitating art". But, nope, it's just like a kid that got fed up of dragging his bedroom project on for too long and just ended it as fast as he could so he could go back and play with his toy trucks some more.
