The Hamiltons
The Hamiltons seem to be the picture-perfect American family. They are hardworking community members; giving to their local charities, attending town hall meetings and always respectful of their neighbors...except for the fact that they usually end up killing them.

An Exercise In Nonsense
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
A Zombie film is about Humans trying to survive while demons are hunting them down. A Vampire film is about Demons trying to survive in a human society, while Humans are hunting them down. The Thompson's are one of those Creepy 1970's vampire films. Y'know some creepy dude attacks a girl, then it goes back to his big castle. It then becomes slow-paced, as things come to a head, and they attack the castle. Well you take away the creepy castle and you have these nomadic goobers. The Hamiltons dispatch their first victims rather unceremoniously. And you're left wondering are these some back wood serial cannibal/serial killer. One brother is trying to fit in, get a job. 2 others love the life they live, but how long until the local yokels put one and one together.
Meet The Hamiltons: oldest brother David, who likes to murder transient homosexuals; twins Wendell and Darlene, a couple of sadistic nut-jobs who delight in suffering and incest; tortured soul Francis, who reluctantly assists his family in their gruesome activities; and Lenny, who remains unseen for most of the film, locked in a room in the basement. The opening scene of The Hamiltons, which sees a pretty woman waking to find herself bound and gagged in a grimy hellhole full of bloody surgical implements, made me think that I was in for yet another predictable ho-hum psycho-killer/torture horror, and to be honest, much of what followed did little to alter this perception. The story rarely strayed from the expected hoary clichés of that sub-genre, with only Francis's internal battle with his conscience being of any real interest. The acting was passable, and the direction perfunctory. To my surprise, however, writers/directors The Butcher Brothers pack in a pretty neat twist at the end of their film which actually helped me to forgive some of the preceding mundanity, although I can't help but feel that the whole thing would have been much more successful overall had they not relied so much on their clever ending to completely save the day. Despite the film's subject matter, this one frustratingly holds back on the graphic sex and violence; had they'd been a little more daring in these departments, this could have been something really special.
starting was very average just like in any slasher movie but suspense builds up gradually .At one stage when i came to know that the family kills people in their cellar,i thought that these are just mentally retarded psychopaths just like in every slasher movie but i was amazed to know that they are vampires. The murder of kitty was also very exciting and terrorizing, overall the movie seemed to be really nice especially in the second half but in the end when they revealed Lenny i was expecting him to be some scary creature and i was so looking forward to it,got really excited about it but was disappointed and also relieved to see he looked like an ordinary kid.And they way it ended when David introduces his family and himself to their new neighbours it really left me wondering what will happen next seems to very full of suspense.
This was one of the films from the After Dark Horrorfest and like most of them it was incredibly poor. The film is painfully slow. It might have worked as a 30 minute short but as a feature film it bored the hell out of me. The film tries to set up this mystery as to what it is they are doing and why they are doing it but by the time it was revealed I had already lost interest in the story. Also, the acting in this film is incredibly poor, especially the older brother, who at times is laughable. This film was obviously made on a low budget but I can forgive the low production values. You work with what you've got, lots of great films have been made on a tiny budget (night of the living dead). However, what I can't forgive is a lack of talent. The writing and acting were downright horrible and if that's the case then the budget is irrelevant because the film is going to suck. They were clearly trying to make this an art house film but instead they just made a stinker that will put you to sleep before the first hour.
