A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

There are only a few movies out there which have a good moral to it, well this is a movie which comes under that. The movie is about a adult who thinks that only his college days had something meant to it, not his adulthood life. This movie has everything from romance to comedy to drama. I really liked this movie from all aspects, from the moral to the decisions Jesse makes in this movie. In all, it was a great movie to watch.

Gosh, I loved this movie. I was as glued to the screen as I was when I watched 500 days of Summer. Totally immersed in what was going on. The movie is well written, with endearing characters that I wanted to see succeeding in life and, in regards to the main couple, finding love with each together. I loved the character of Zibby and therefore I'm now a fan of Elizabeth Olzen. Who wouldn't want to have a girlfriend as cool, beautiful and intelligent as that character! The dialogs in this movie are super deep and tells you everything you need to know about any given character that's on the screen. It is so rewarding to me to witness a story that flows so well with a story that stays with you when it's over and -even more importantly, not to mention rare- that makes you think! Do not miss this one!

Great movie, it's a simple story, but aren't those usually the best. I totally got and dig Josh Radnor's philosophy presented here. It's so relatable. Best line in the entire movie is when one guy tells the other "none of us feels like an adult, it's the world's dirty little secret...". It's about being disappointed about where you are in life compared to one's youthful expectations, when one is still at college having this romantic, naive and somewhat illusional perception of life, what it is, what it could become and then as the movie is about to end, coming to terms with where one is right now and embracing it. I loved the scenes where the main character listens to classical music with headphones on his ears, walking down the streets of New York. Finally a fresh use of the New York scenery. Do see it, because it's a gem between so many mediocre movies that get made these days.

I wasn't a big fan of Josh Radnor's TV show 'How I met your mother' but upon reading a review of this film there was something that made me want to put that to one side and watch this film.Liberal Arts isn't like most Rom-com's you see these days. It's slower and more talky but when a big laugh comes along it certainly is a big laugh. The concept behind this film may not be new but the delivery and approach of it is.With Radnor on good form as the likable Jesse and rising star Elizabeth Olsen shining in every scene this film is an enjoyable one and is both thought-provoking and funny at the same time. When you can get people like Zac Efron, Richard Jenkins and Allison Janney to take up the smaller roles you know you're on a winner.The ending, or even the last 30 minutes are where things start to slide a little bit and it's almost as if the film stops itself from going too edgy in order to appeal to the masses. For me I would have liked the ending to have trusted itself and its audience a bit more.A good film, worth seeking out.
