Wonderful Movie
good back-story, and good acting
Admirable film.
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
I have never witnessed anything like this before, it is annoying on another level, I see that they are cashing in on the fear caused by extreme weather, but it would be more plausible for the tornadoes to drag up pirate ghosts, world war 2 depth charges, or soiled grocery bags from The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. I don't even know why they are meant to be scared of the sharks, as the saying goes, 'fish out of water'. Kind of cool though if some spoiled 8 year old child come up with the story and everyone contributed to it (the yes men and the spoilt bit), but no cos the child would get a job with Fox.
It was perhaps inevitable with the success (financial, not critical) of the first "Sharknado" movie that we would get a sequel. While other production units might have made a quickie effort, in some aspects this sequel comes across better than the first movie - slightly. The shooting in various places in New York City do give the movie a better looking backdrop. And there are some amusing moments, particularly with the many cameos by various celebrities. However, in some aspects the movie is worse. This is most evident with the special effects. I know you can't expect multi million dollar special effects, but for some reason the special effects here look worse than those in the first movie. Also, the characters are not written to be particularly interesting, which is probably why most of the cast give lazy performances. (Though Vivica A. Fox and Judd Hirsch do put some life in their roles.) In the end, this movie is pretty much at the level of the first movie. If you liked the first movie, you'll probably like this sequel. If you didn't like the first movie, you know what you're in for.
Decided to skip through the slower scenes of the movie and watch just the scenes with sharks in. Flying fire sharks has been something i've dream-ed of seeing since I was young; this film completed my life. Sharks surviving out of water may not be natural, but it makes for an epic movie!! And when you can't see the film getting any better, the perfect love at the end!! Flying chainsaws; blowing stuff up, the best action movie ever. It also shows how stupid human race, after the weather will be raining sharks, everyone in NY goes outside. My mates and I enjoyed the original and this was a film.we wanted to see but lacked the time to watch all of it so we had to skip the slower parts of the movie, but we shall go back and re-watch it. If you want to see a thrilling out of this world film, this is it!
Never will I EVER understand why anyone would like this pitiful piece of garbage! I can't believe Sharknado being such a crappy movie in the first place was even able to get a sequel! It makes me sick to think that there are actually people out there who enjoyed this movie! If you are one of those people, you are VERY easily entertained! For anyone who hasn't seen this movie (if you can even call it a movie) yet, I would advise you not to because it is one of the biggest piles of horse crap I have ever seen and I curse the day that they decided to make it (same goes for Sharknado 1)! To anyone that plans on watching this movie even after reading this review, prepare for a terrible poop storm of a movie!
