Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.

The story-telling is good with flashbacks.The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Though it's a bit superfluous to add to the other reviews, I hadn't seen nor heard of this film until it came on TV a few weeks back. The cast is superb, the writing so funny my wife and I watched it again...Dennis Farina left us much too soon--and he's perfect in his role as usual. The doofus crooks Tom Sizemore and Johnny Knoxville are also hilarious in their stumblebum roles. I find no fault with this film; I just bought Dave Barry's novel that became "Big Trouble," though the written word won't do justice to the film's cast I'm afraid. It's very odd that such a funny film can come and go without a blip on the horizon. Same for others that turn up on TV that I've never heard of previously. This is definitely one to watch!

Some of the humor was kind of corny but still a very funny movie to watch. The title fits right in the story, a bomb gets tossed in and in the end, everybody is involved with it, either wanting to set it off, or turn off. Then there's a war an everybody is in Big Trouble. Listen to some rock and roll music while watching the second half of the movie and I assure you, it will be like an action thrilling music video. Very good movie to watch once again. I liked the actors who are in it. If you are looking for a movie with some of your actors or actresses, then you would know damn well you will like the movie then. I think I've seen this one at least a dozen times. The humor is raunchy, funny and you will laugh till you cannot breathe. (So control your laughter) I'd recommend it to anyone who digs comedies.

Everyone says this is a laugh.You start out with a guy chatting about his life and then it switches to a voice over of a narrator.It has major stars or at least popular stars. This looks like it was 3/4 movies tossed in a bag and the you got this mess.The script is bad, the lines bad and things are just a mess and not explained. The lines are delivered w/o no emotions.This movie is so bad you jump from one thing to another and you just can't laugh you go what just happened.Don't waste your time with it.

An all star cast really deliver in this gem of a screwball comedy.The story is completely ridiculous, but you don't watch movies like this for the plot.You watch them for a few laughs and this one delivers more than a few. Janeane Garafolo, always hilarious, is on top form and her pairing as a cop with Patrick Warburton provides plenty of chuckles.The only quibble i had with the movie was that Rene Russo, an actress i really like, is underused, but Tim Allen, who i often find a little irritating, is more restrained in his role and very watchable.So just switch your brain off for 75 minutes or so and enjoy plenty of silly laughs!
