A Masterpiece!

The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

This is a very good movie. The beast Godzilla movie is the remake from 1998. You don't have to agree. But if your mad about it I'm from Canada that's a free county so get over it you big pooh pooh heads. This is the 12th Godzilla movie. It is also the 6th M.o.t.r.a movie. It is not as good as the 12th M.o.t.h.r.a movie at would also be part 25 to the Japan Godzilla series it is called Godzilla M.o.t.h.r.a and King G.h.i.d.o.r.a.h giant monsters on an all out attack. It is all so not as good as Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S. That would part 27 to the Japan Godzilla series. It would also be the 13th M.o.t.h.r.a movie. That one is also better. Godzilla Final war would part 28 to the Japan Godzilla series. It would also be the 14th M.o.t.h.r.a movie. That one would also be better. All the M.o.t.h.r.a movie are good. And most of the Godzilla movie are good. See this movie it's great. It's very cool. Godzilla and M.o.t.h.r.a movie are OK for kids but there good for adults to. Hockey is for kids and adults that like it are big kids. I would know when Ottawa plays my dad turns into a little kid. This movie is great see it.

Man, i don't know if it's because i grew up on godzilla; or something like that because i enjoy just about every godzilla movie made. Honestly, I've seen most of them. And every one is watchable and enjoyable, look at the time this movie was made. Obviously its gonna be corny.I'm watching it right now, and i am enjoying it :P I really don't get Why all the godzilla movies are giving such a low rating, besides a select few. I also just watched Godzilla Mothra and king ghidrah, made in 2001 and wow it was pretty sick. The ending fight with king ghidorah is ridiculous. Anyway i rate this movie an 8 out of 10, maybe a 7.5 i see it as an enjoyable old sci fi flick, thats worth watching if you have a good imagination~

overuse of stock footage and very low budget make this Godzilla film one of the bad one. the movie starts out with Ghidorah stock footage from Ghidorah the three headed monster and invasion of the Astro monster. Also the special effects were the worst to date. And making the monsters talk via a bubble make this the most childish Godzilla movie and make other bad Godzilla movies like all monsters attack and Godzilla vs Megalon. At least all monsters attack had the reason that this was not supposed to be a real Godzilla movie but more of a stand up for yourself kind of movie. The only good part of this movie was the Anguirus costume. It was better than the old Godzilla raids again costume. But the fact that the back legs were showing made the costume seem bad and fake

A race of evil aliens (they're actually giant cockroaches who inhibit the bodies of recently deceased folks) call upon the ferocious three-headed dragon King Ghidorah and sharp-beaked bird beast Gigan (he's got a huge buzzsaw in his belly!) to destroy us puny helpless humans so they can take over the planet. Luckily, the almighty Godzilla and his spike-backed gigantic porcupine pal Anguirus come to the rescue. The opening third of this creature feature romp is pretty slow, talky and rather tedious, but fortunately things start to seriously cook when the monsters engage in an incredibly lengthy, violent and vigorous anything-goes fight (the definite highlight occurs when Anguirus runs its spikes repeatedly into King Ghidorah's torso!). Moreover, the expected protracted mondo destructo city stomp sequence likewise totally hits the satisfying spot. Akira Ifukube's robust, rousing orchestral score constitutes as another substantial asset. Ditto Kiyoshi Hasegawa's crisp widescreen cinematography. The lovably rinky dink miniatures and hokey rubber monster suits possess their usual chintzy charm. The scenes where the behemoth beasts roar and rumble at each other prior to mixing it up with considerable go-for-it gusto are hysterically funny. Overall, this Godzilla outing provides a good deal of infectiously inane and outrageous fun.
