There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.

For a revenge movie then this 2009 movie was nowhere near as interesting, thrilling or disturbing as other movies of the same genre, for example "I Spit on Your Grave".The idea of the movie, the storyline if you will, is very simple and straight forward, as they usually tend to be for these particular types of movies. The storyline, simply put, is about two Catholic school girls find themselves at the mercy of three maniacs when they knock on their door during their trip to sell bibles.It is no secret that we don't watch these movies for their elaborate storyline. Hardly so. No, we watch these movies for the violence and to see what kind of wicked ways the movie makers come up with for torturing people on the screen and what nasty ways people are killed by those wronged in the movie. Yes, the revenge genre is a particularly nasty genre by comparison to most other genres.And you find yourself watching these movies because you enjoy the genre, most likely not because you stumble upon them by sheer random luck.What ultimately killed off this movie for me, pardon the pun, was the slow pace that it trotted on at, and the lack of convincing acting performances by the majority of the cast (which wasn't many, mind you, as there were few people in the movie). Had there been more talented people in the movie, it would have been all the more enjoyable.Don't get me all wrong here, because there were also nice aspects to the movie, they were just overshadowed by the less than mediocre stuff. And that was a shame, because it dragged the movie down.There are far better movies available in this particular genre. And I can honestly say that now as I have seen the movie, I am not going to revisit it ever again.

This film has the feel of a 1980's movie with the way it is filmed, the acting is good and the story good too. Two young girls head off to sell bibles around American towns only to be hurled into a horrific sadistic group of nasty people who like to be drug fuelled and do not care who they hurt.One poor girl watches as her friend is raped and then shot dead in cold blood, she is then taken into the woods to be let loose and run as fast as she can before shes caught and raped.She runs off afterwards and falls down a hill and seems dead so they leave her there. Naked and alone she sets off to find help, she lies in the road and is picked up and taken to hospital. After some time she leaves dressed as a nurse with one thing on her mind revenge.She comes across a gun and a car (fancy that) and sets about killing those who hurt her. You do want her to be avenged as the gang are evil and deserve it. I liked the last killing of the man who raped her where she uses a very long blade and well she sticks it where the sun does not shine! I enjoyed this film and would recommend it.

The movie attempts to recreate the rape-revenge genre but really fails. What we get is lots and lots of sleaziness, failed puns and undeveloped characters. Not much light is shed on the lead characters, and all thats shown is pretty much predictable. The movie feels highly derived from 'Kill Bill' with dramatic soundtrack and a mute protagonist, but is nothing of that level. The agony of the victims is not depicted properly and the artists' are to blame for this. The settings & sets are good for the theme but somehow the weak dialogue delivery just blows the movie apart. The final revenge part of the movie is too small in length and you feel it could have been lengthier compared to the first half's sleazy extended run. The extended nudity could have been easily trimmed down and instead used to show some in depth briefing of the character's feelings and turmoils. Ultimately it's a nudity fest with failed everything else.

Begins to show nothing more than sex and breasts. Script that comes down to rape and revenge. More rape than anything else. Totally unnecessary scenes and characters appear only to increase the duration. After the "death" of the future avenger, scenes pass slowly, showing the lack of creativity of writers who spend about three minutes showing the naked girl walking from one side to another until hitting the road. The only thing that is worth a little, is the soundtrack. One of the songs in the film seems to be a plagiarism from the soundtrack of the movie Planet Horror, mixed with Molly's Chamber by Kings of Leon. Long-awaited revenge is low in creativity and nothing good, as seen in revenge I Spit On Your Grave. The result is disappointing and we see the end credits, and a question comes to mind: "That's it?!", along with the sense wasted of time. They can try, but I have not seen a gore/trash better than those made by Rodriguez and Tarantino.
