It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

I enjoyed watching this movie because of its sweetness and general feel-good vibes. If you are looking for an epic movie that will be remembered throughout all time... this is not for you. But if you are looking for an easy to watch, romantic and slightly cheesy movie for a girls night-in... this is just right!

A truly charming movie...predictable but that's what we want from romantic comedies, isn't it? Our heroine, the much beloved Donavan struggles to keep her coffee shop open and her love life afloat...excellent cast, a really solid script, and very well edited...hard not to cross at least a few clichés and barriers with this genre, but this one actually does not lean too heavily on the standards...highly recommended...makes you want to believe in love again...sigh

I don't mind made for TV Movie romantic movies. However, I have seen better. The cast are attractive and I like the night shots with the party lights and overall the ambiance. However, I never quite felt (and subsequently couldn't buy) the romantic leads connection. The sister of the lead is a C U Next Tuesday that acts atrociously towards the lead male and I couldn't wait for her to get her just desserts! Alas, this never happens and not so much as an apology or even and acknowledgment that he was a decent guy. That let me down. Don't make horrible characters without the audience getting some sort of vindication. This film leaves none. Also, this film follows the Hollywood (or is it Hallmark Channel) formula of romantic interests butt heads, get along, fall in love, and the girl feels betrayed in last 15 minutes and then everything is unsatisfactorily resolved at 2 minutes left. This film also goes right along with the formula of that the guy ends up apologizing for some non-issue at the end. The girl is always right is the moral of these stories and this film is no exception. However, this one leaves not much connection between the main characters and the way the lead woman is so angered, I don't see how she just suddenly goes, "Okay, I'm over it, let's have coffee and kids!"

My level of interest was at its peak when I scrolled upon this movie on my Netflix account. I myself run a cafe and find the cafe setting has romantic qualities. But for me, an experienced barista, to see that within the first 5 minutes of the movie this "barista" in the movie has not only poured a watery and therefore flavour-less espresso shot but has also scorched her steamed milk too! And then has the audacity to exclaim words "it's heavenly" and "its what keeps us in business" after taking the first sip. You've literally insulted the effort put into a delicious, even a mediocre delicious hand made latte. Could the directors not have found an experienced barista to just make the latte within the few seconds of that scene. I've trained first time baristas and even their first latte was better quality. A good movie should hook the audience with its intro and this scene, (not even the bad acting), completely killed my interest.
