Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Admirable film.
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
To all those who have watched it: I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do.
I was a big fan of the original '13 Cameras'. It was a sleeper hit that I didn't really see coming. I thought they might have been pushing it a little by throwing in a sequel, but to my pleasant surprise it was another really high quality edition to the series. The villain was menacing, the victims were interesting (enough) characters and there were some scenes featuring excellent tension. There are three story-arcs being followed in the film. At first I thought they might have been being too ambitious but it turns out it actually was a really good notion. It meant that no one story felt too stretched and it kept everything feeling fresh and exciting for the duration of the film. Films that try to do too much can sometimes become confusing and lose focus. '14 Cameras' though keeps every thing very coherent by defining characters and locations very well. Needless to say I was very impressed by this film, and while I don't think it's quite as good as the original it is certainly still worth watching.
So, this is a sequel to the movie 13 Cameras (2015). This is low budget and for a low budget film, I think it is bearable. The acting is so-so. The story is shaky but you can see what is trying to come across. The slumlord is one of the most disturbing characters to watch. He looks, walks, talks and behaves supper creepy. Apparently he can't breathe through his nose unless he's sniffing some girl's panties, so, yeah, he's totally weird. If you are looking for a great movie, this probably won't be it but if you don't really care and are just killing some time, it's a "Meh" film.
The long awaited sequel to "13 Cameras" has finally arrived and boy, I can't await for the next one....sorry about that spoiler and sarcasm. Our near protagonist and creep, Gerald (Neville Archambault) places cameras in a rental home and allows people to pay to spy on the unsuspecting family. He also sells things like girl's panties, sneaking into the home. In a subplot, he has a couple of women who discovered him locked up in an underground shelter. He has the young. son of one of the captives live with him. There is a family of four, plus Danielle (Amber Midthunder) who is being watched. This is your basic creeper cam stuff. Gerald is starting to grow on me.
Being violently ill is a much more pleasurable experience than watching this piece of garbage. This has to be one of the most ridiculous movies I have ever seen. There is nothing thrilling to this movie and the only horror is the extremely implausible story. The baddie sounds like he has a permanent cold, terrible acne and a limp which means he can only shuffle around at a snails pace. Despite this and his seemingly old age it appears that no-one is able to overpower him or even escape. The story is so bad that it is completely unbelievable the characters wooden and uninteresting. As to the guy on the "dark web" who offered $5000 for a the girls panties....... Give me a call I got a bra and socks I'd like to sell you. This movie definitely doesn't not belong in the thriller category and not one shred of horror to it. Its simply dull, bland and one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and watch something else, anything else, hell watching paint dry or grass grow would be more rewarding.
