This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

I visited Peace Park 16 years ago this month. I did not have high expectations when I went. I have traveled the northern hemisphere extensively and expected this visit to be a 3 out of 10. My experience was much different than what I had expected it to be. My visit was moving and changed my opinion significantly. All world leaders should pay a visit to Hiroshima. However divergent one views are about the bombing of Hiroshima before visiting Peace Park, most walk out with a unified perspective. This is a tough, tough subject and difficult to present without bias. This film does this well. The two most important parts of the film are that it simply documents what life was like before August 6th, 1945 and the creative animation that supports the survivors stories. The animation was done extremely well. When I walked the park 16 years ago, I knew there was a city under my path, but my mind blocked the curiosity of the details. To be frank, it was easier this way and the film brings a clear and vivid picture of those details. I applaud the people that worked on this film, who documented the memories of the aged survivors, before the last of this generation has passed on. I feel the film is worth viewing by everyone over 15, more important to the ones that have walked through the park. These viewer will see this scared land in a new and different way.
