America: Freedom to Fascism

This is a documentary about an honest search for the truth about the Federal Reserve Bank and the legality of the Internal Revenue System. Through extensive interviews with recognised experts and authority, the director shows an astonishing revelation of how the Federal Government and the Bankers have fooled the American public by taking thier wages and putting it in the pockets of the super-rich.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

Be Wary Of Negative Reviews For This Film as the first page of them (when sorting reviews by HATED first) are from users with no other activity on IMDb. It is possible these persons created IMDb accounts just to post a negative review about this film but its highly unlikely. People in general are lazy and if one were willing to create an account on IMDb just to write a negative review you can bet it would be a very heated and emotionally filled review; these are not.The first negative review by user "riromero" is well worded and grammatically correct however it consist of many logical fallacies. A logical fallacy is a stance, argument or statement that is in error and usually done intentionally even if the writer is not aware they are committing a fallacy. In this users case they make reference to TITLE 26 as if it is the law of the land and then uses it as the bases for why other points in the film are incorrect. This user also makes great effort to paint the Federal Reserve as something other then what it is; most likely to avoid having to admit that Russo is right about the Federal Reserve. When this review was done by the user "riromero" the economic crisis of 2008 had not yet come to pass and so the focus on the Federal Reserves actions had yet to happen and so most of the American public did not yet know that the Federal Reserve IS a privately owned bank and not a part of the elected government nor its bureaucracy .Now that the recent audit of the Fed by the government lead by Texas senator Ron Paul has taken place and details about the highly questionable acts by the Fed has been reveled the truths revealed by Russo's documentary are more relevant then ever before. Before you decide to skip on Russo's Freedom To Fascism please take some time to learn about what government has been doing that the media has mysteriously opted to not report on. There's no doubt that corruption has run amok and that the trouble makers are in positions of power in our government and we are running out of time to do something about it. Get educated and know your rights! Russo's documentary on the Income Tax and the Federal Reserve is an excellent piece of work and should be viewed at least once by every American. Russo risked his life (and eventually lost it) trying to expose what is going on in government. Take the time to watch his work and see what exactly it is that those in power would kill someone over just to to keep it quiet.

This whole movie is based on the idea that the 16th amendment does not confer the rights for the government to tax income.Thats all fair and fine. But he, and several of the interviewed people, keeps on saying that there is no law that requires you to file an income tax.But as one of the experts he was referred to by IRS states; There is a law. Title 26. The producer behind this movie just think its unconstitutional. Thats a whole different ball game though.Read it again: The law is there. You have to pay income tax. According to that law at least. What remains is finding out whether the law is constitutional. And instead of spending time on that, he spends time on circular arguments created by the twisted idea that the law does not exist - because he _thinks_ it should not.He even claims to be threatened when a smarter guy than him, that is NOT working for the IRS, tells him he will learn the truth. When all he was basically doing was calling him stupid, which was well deserved. For sane person with a minimum of logical ability, viewing this "documentary" fast becomes an exercise in restraint as you want desperately to reach in and tell the idiot to stop.He might be on to something in terms of the 16th amendment. But he loses it all in useless tinfoilhattery.

I saw this movie and was amazed. What a dutiful nation. No law whatsoever and they pay the income tax. Of course I see it from a different angle. I don't know any country that the workers don't pay income tax in. I don't know any country that follows gold standard (heck, dollar is the standard for most countries today). According to some the banks are actually making money all over the world. Lets say you borrow money to pay for a car. The bank lends you the money but you never see it. It is just added to the account of the cars owner in his bank. And don't think the banks actually exchange real money. No its just shifting with numbers and thats why they can lend billion billions and no one would ever ask where the money came from? Its pretty unfrequent that someone goes to a bank and says hey i want to withdraw my ten million bucks for newly I am going to deposit them in my cupboard; so they never have to show their cards. The rest was enlightening and inspiring. I would personally stress out the part where it enumerates the powers conferred by the Congress to the president. Because if there ever was some prominent sign of democracy's decline to nazism, it was the hypertrophy of the executive powers. The chief question posed:"how come the movie was published?" Are the ruling financial houses trying how far they can go, was the movie their idea? Or do they feel so firm in the saddle? Or is the globalist policy getting so out of hand that they might lose lots of money, i.e. liquid power, and have to use all the means to keep as much as possible, even applying raw power to gain money? Is the hegemony of the "rothschilds" endangered by their very child, the globalism, and do we have to fear wars in the near future? I guess so. The globalism started distributing the wealth a bit out of sight of the USA and other rich countries, making poorer western society as a whole BUT some people ought not to lose their money so the poorest have to get even poorer to make up for this upperclass loss. They just don't have much time for cover-up. Next time on TV: Its time to reclaim the superiority of the western hemisphere. Grab your M16s folks and don't forget to mention you are spreading democracy and human rights:)

Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes its laws. — Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild The Constitution is just a goddam piece of paper. — (King) George Bush II Today I present comments on Aaron Russo's important documentary for resolving two peculiarly American precipitants of tyranny: the income tax and the Federal Reserve Act. Both of these confiscation-and-control mechanisms were set in place in the ominous year of 1913. Indeed, they were followed by WW1 (1914-1918), Prohibition (1920-1933), and the Great Depression (1929-1939), leading to WW2 (1939-1945), the Cold War (1945-1989), and the post-Reagan full flowering of the national security Cartel in a neverending War on Terror (1980s-whenever)...
