9/11: The Conspiracy Files
The Conspiracy Files investigates the growing number of conspiracy theories surrounding the 9/11 attacks. Incredibly some believe the American Government allowed or actively helped the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Those who question the official version believe the World Trade Center buildings were actually demolished by explosives; others ask why there was so little damage to the Pentagon's outer wall if a plane really had hit it. And why was America so unprepared when terror attack warnings had been received? The Conspiracy Files travels across the United States to investigate, speaking to eye witnesses and tries to separate fact from fiction.

It is a performances centric movie
The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
As has been the case with anything 9/11 related, 'Conspiracy Files' is yet another BBC whitewash of what actually happened that day. The buildings collapse, the staggering absence of video footage from the pentagon, the even more staggering report of building 7 collapsing 23 minutes before it happened! The BBC refuses to explain this latter anomaly. Who gave them the script to say Building 7 had fallen, when it was quite clearly upright and in shot behind their reporter? If there were ever a programme to show how the BBC is controlled by the powers that be - this is it. A 2nd year media student could produce better investigative journalism. Do not waste your time. 'Loose Change', 'In Plane Sight' or various other, better made films are available on this subject. The only conspiracy theory going on here, is how the BBC continues to ignore the most blatant and compelling evidence that 9/11 was far, far different in reality than the official nonsense we've been asked to swallow.
This is a very poor documentary considering that it was made by the BBC. The point of the documentary is made clear early on. It is out to disprove the Internet conspiracy theorists. A lot of questions posed on the Internet are not answered or even mentioned. The narration is by a woman with a monotone voice and it is terrible. The final conclusion of this shoddy documentary is that there was a cover-up after the event and not before. The most disturbing and provocative evidence put forward by the Internet conspiracy theorists is that of the physics involved in bringing down the three World Trade Centre buildings. The free-fall evidence is not broached by the documentary and that is the most compelling and intriguing argument.
