When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

The literal title of this film is "If there's a good person, please introduce us." The alternative title is "Romantic Comedy." I like the alternative title best. I'll explain later. This film is one of the rare moments where I just enjoyed a simple romantic comedy. Of course, maybe it's because it also appeals to the inner film geek in me. But the basic story is thus: Hyo-jin works at a matchmaking company as a matchmaker. She has a flawless matching record, but is unmarried at the upper-twenties/lower-thirties, which is not necessarily appreciated in contemporary Corean society. Enter the absent-minded and impossible to match man she is given as a client. Yeah, you know where that's all gonna go.However, the film is actually more about Hyo-jin over anything else, and her tribulations as a single woman looking for love in Corea. During the course of the film, you learn about her relationship with her man previously in her life, you learn about her crazy single seemingly undatable friends and generally get to step around in her shoes. One of the things that I appreciated about this film is that it spends a lot of time developing the relationship between Hyo-jin and her friends. Both her trio of silly girlfriends and her childhood male-friend.The comedy is situational (there's a lot of embarrassing moments for Hyo-jin to deal with), but is also physical as well, with many moments revolving around Hyo-jin's impressive clumsiness. Of course, then there's the reflexive humor: Like Scream, this film turns itself on its head by making self-referential comments about the nature of romantic comedies and the irony of knowing the situations but still being unable to do anything about it is also a wonderful parodic aspect of the film. The acting is decent, the script is decent, the production is fine. The story in the end is a small story about a woman and her relationships. It doesn't aspire to great heights and it benefits from its simplicity. And it's a nice picture about finding romance slightly later in the game. It won't blow your mind, but you might find it cute. It's nothing special, but for the awareness the film had about itself and the focus on relationships, I have to say I liked it. It's decent. 6/10.

Korean romantic comedy is characterized by the diversity of its motivation, especially the variety of opportunities for man and woman to meet each other. This comedy is a cute one, a very understandable and a stabilized small masterpiece which can be hailed even outside Korea. Every line and action of characters are appropriately invigorated, and the harmonized, well-tempo-ed structure is coherent throughout the sequence. Some visually comic cuts and heart-warming soundtrack also polish this sequence. Especially the scene of social events between bachelors and young ladies who openly seek for their soul mates is breathtakingly sympathetic and meticulously positioned in the whole sequence.Must be a favorite weekend flick that can be shared among sincere youngsters who know the "mechanism" of the occurrence of love.
