Am i the only one who thinks........Average?
There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
Six people survive the crash of an airplane and find themselves in a mysterious Central American mansion and ghost town, where they encounter ghosts from their past. They are then judged for their sins by a demonic figure while the jury chants their (predictable) verdict.Very much of its time; macho men wear their shirts open to their waist while the elaborately hair-sprayed women wear polyester pantsuits in what must be sweltering heat. Off to a bad start when what is obviously a toy airplane crashes in the jungle and then bursts into flame, but the rest of the film is competently done if predictable. It appears to be a joint Argentinean-Amercan effort, with actors speaking either English or Spanish and dubbed afterwards. Some great locations in what must be Argentina, including an abandoned train station and mostly empty town.
