Very best movie i ever watch

It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

I saw this movie for the first time during it's second weekend premiere with a group of friends. I'm never "scared" by movies, but I do enjoy analyzing and deducing what might happen in a thriller like this. I was able to divine the main plot twist through subtle character choices and dialogue hints. But what I liked most of all? That there was a twist I didn't catch. I was pleasantly surprised and even more impressed by the writing and acting.Not sure why a lot of people are dumping on this film? It has a unique cinematic style that isn't cookie cutter like 90% of other horror/thrillers, and I love that it's super Hollywood and meta. Maybe people got butt-hurt because they didn't see the true twist at the end of the film? I really didn't see anything not to like.But I guess that's the thing about human perception, fascinating and so drastically polarizing at times. I'd watch this film again just to pick up on the clues I missed the first time around.

This movie is really bad. The high points probably comes from cast and crew conducting some sort of pre-internet-release internet-campaign. Kudos to them and well done. You fooled me!The acting is pretty bad, the editing is actually okay but the script/story and directing is just infantile. It's like a less-than-bright adolescent wrote the script, trying to sort of copy the gist of other horror movies, not paying any attention to details or believability of characters or story-progression. It's just a big mess, to sum it up in one sentence. The music was really good though... but probably because it was taken from Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket.

Most thrillers tend to lose my attention pretty early in because they all seem to be either too similar, predictable, or corny. (or all of the above) Not this one, completely unpredictable. This is an incredibly intelligent movie that demands your attention throughout; otherwise you may miss some clues or some extremely well done scenes(make sure you know who's sitting next to you before you start watching)! Extremely well written, directed, and definitely very well done on the acting side. Given the quality of this movie overall it's hard to realize or accept the fact that this is in fact an ultra-low budget independent film. Highly recommended! **Oh and I love the twists! :-)

I am one of those people who can figure out the ending of a film. I saw the ending, well partially of Birdman. I don't know how many times a TV show has told me who the bad guy is or the guilty party because if you pay attention the clues are in the story. But this film, threw me off. I like horror, but not to violent or graphic. there is some nudity in this piece but suggestive, like the nudity in Underworld. As to violence it is horror, but part of the story, not just for the sake of the violence. the best part of the film is figuring out at the end what is really going on. And I can't give you a clue, because it would ruin it for you. Don't tell. Seriously, DON'T. The Candy man may find you. Or IMDb will BAN YOU. Another cool thing about the film is that it kind of shows you how Horror films are made in an indirect way. It is part of the story. I learned some things I did not know despite having had extensive experience on sets.The Director by the way is really nice and now I know is a really a good actor and really a good film maker. this is the second film I have seen by him. 108 Stitches is a Comedy worth seeing as well.
