Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

This is a low budget drama that centers around Bonnie Parker (Ashley Hayes). It starts with her first failed marriage and her love for "bad boys." There is significant first person narration from Bonnie as she reads poetry from her diary. Eric Roberts appears as the sheriff who killed the couple. While his role was brief, the film capitalized on it by showing the clip at the beginning and the end. Plot Spoiler: They die.The film is exceedingly low budget. It does not show any robberies, just headlines. In fact the money they show is only a partial view of the corners. The one 50 dollar bill corner has a huge 50 and is clearly a modern bill. Gun fire and bullets hitting the vehicle are CG. The acting is fairly sad too.A more entertaining film (slightly less accurate) would be "Bonnie and Clyde vs. Dracula."Parental Guide: No f-bombs, sex, or nudity. Dressed couple in bed morning after. Some sexual innuendos such as the postman "delivering big packages in the rear."

This is an awful film with absolutely no merit. There's so much wrong with this film, I don't know where to begin. There's no action, no plot and the film is filled with several overly long photo montages that are tedious. The budget was so low there is virtually no realism. Money shown is current currency, one of the newspaper headlines has a blatant spelling error and all gunfire is depicted with cheesy computer generated flashes.I'd say this is more like a student film, but that would be insulting to student films.Avoid at all costs, as this film is a complete waste of time with no redeeming values.

I had to laugh when I watched this, and in fact I did. The part at approx. 75:45 made me laugh the most. It looked like one of the show's producers Photoshopped the building (penitentary or castle?) into the scene. I also love the fake-looking flashes they too edited in.Also, I believe Clyde always drove Ford's. Don't quote me on that, but I think that is how it was. The Roadster they were in in the beginning I don't believe was a Ford. Also, I believe the real B&C stole many cars, in the movie they only had two cars.I also have to make note how half the movie is black and white movies. All the scenes were in the same dessert, including the "Indiana" scene. I just wonder where that $1,000,000 they had went. All in all: the A&E version was 10 times better. I've never seen the 1967 version so I can't compare it with that one, but I'm sure the 1967 one was the best out of all of them.Would I recommend this movie? Hill no! If you can, watch the 1967 version, or at least the A&E version, which I will also review.

A truly dreadful remake. The action is non-existent which in such a dramatic and action packed story is beyond belief. In close up sepia stills (which take up a significant part of the film) you can clearly see that the guns are fake, and poor ones at that with no hole in the muzzle. Got bored well before the end and switched off before it got any worse!Apparently I need to write more lines of text, so I will use those lines to pay homage to the Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway 1967 film of the same title, which even though it was filmed forty six years earlier than this 2013 effort, is far superior in every single way.
