Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

This is not movie that will take your breath away, It is a typical movie with typical story, twist and comedy. There is nothing out of the box in this movie. In My Rating:1. So in my opinion its up to you whether you have extra time or not to watch this film.

I would say Alex Pandian isn't a movie worth spending time in the theaters. This movie is indeed an everyday family entertainer with the same old same old plot.Director Suraaj has delivered good movies like Marudhamalai however this isn't what people would have expected.For those who selected this movie over Samar and Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya, their expectation on the movie would have been destroyed within the first hour.The only attractive thing about this movie is that it holds a good cast who are Karthik, Anushka and Santhanam.The songs were okay, however the most expected song from this movie, "Bad Boy" was slotted in at the credits of the movie which was indeed a sad case scenario.
