The Worst Film Ever
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Movies on the subject of death & cancer have been done before, but not to this context. I recall The Bucket List with Jack Nicholson & Morgan Freeman. Those guys focused the entire film on getting their characters out of their daily lives and live their personal dreams to the fullest.On the other hand, the lead actress Madelyn Dundon with the script given to her by Daniel Roebuck & Jeff Lewis provided a more selfless take on the pains Grace had from the fear of death & her very immediate future. Instead, the goal was to accept the situation as it is because it may or may not change for the better and no one wants to live depressed & lonely.
Hollywood Take note. Oscar Academy Awarders Take note. This is How Movies should be! Daniel Roebuck and Company have Brought back Great Movies to the Silver Screen. I hope they will be Rewarded for their efforts. Hear that Golden Globes???? This is the Second movie I saw this year that Gave me A warm feeling and Brought all my emotions to me whilst watching. The other was " I can only "Imagine" In this film I was also able to take in the Views of My hometown area. Yes we also laughed Cried and Gasped ETC. Acting Writng Editing, Cinematography Wonderful. This is a made me laugh made me cry movie. Great acting super cast. I liked the new age soundtrack and quick thinking of the lead actress (Maddy) a true go see movie. Not computer generated bull that is all that there is nowdays.
It has heart but it never quite got there. First time actress Madelyn Dundon has a lot to bear both comedically and dramatically and it's not helped out with all the unfunny jokes she is given. The movie picks up late as it transforms from comedy to drama but it was a little too late.
