The Flash independent movie delayed the opening time. The current plan is the movie will start to product in the end of 2019, and released in 2021.
Although the film has not yet passed officially, and there is no clues to know what time to shoot. In August, the film crew should been started shooting on 5th February 2019. John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein(Game Night) will be the movie's directors.
It was reported that one reason for postponing the shooting is that Ezra Miller, who plays the Flash, is going to shoot the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series. J.K. Rowling insisted that the series should be taken 5 parts, and the third part of the filming will be launched in July next year, which makes Miller cannot join in The Flash independent movie.
The Flash plans to start taking in the end of 2019 and released in 2021.
With the failure box office of Justice League, Zack Snyder withdrew completely, and Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill cannot confirm to continue joining in this series, DC series is re-constructing the universe. It is reported that the new version of The Flash is based on Back to the Future with a more vivid color instead of dark style.
