Reviews
Best movie of this year hands down!
It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
28th STOCKHOLM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. DAY 3, NOV 10th 2017. Nordic premiere. For all its good intentions and incredibly important subject and message, the film fails on the most basic level: it doesn't engage. At age 80, iconic, legendary British actress Vanessa Redgrave visited Stockholm International Film Festival on November 10th to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and to take part in the Face-to-face session for her directorial debut: documentary "Sea Sorrow" (2017). The face-to-face was lovely and amazingly entertaining with Redgrave's great intelligence and wit. Sadly, the film was not.
