Stasis
After a night out of partying and left behind by her friends, Ava wakes up and sneaks back home only to find that she's already safe in bed. But that's not Ava - it's someone who looks just like her. A time-traveling fugitive has stolen Ava's body, her identity, and her life. What's more -- she's not alone. There are others, hiding in the past, secretly living among us, plotting to alter the future. Without her body, Ava is a virtual ghost, silent and invisible to the world. And, so far as she knows, she's the only one who can stop them and put the timeline back on course.

Purely Joyful Movie!
It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
This movie is so null that I saw it twice without remember what would happen next...
If you're looking for a good time travel movie, this is not it. And if you're looking for Romance in the story line, This is not it. The acting is terrible, the lines are terrible. He was left in a B rated film. It's like Travelers... but not. Very loose logic, zero science sense. Too much left implied, no real action, acting, and bad music. Very limited budget effects too.
"Stasis" is a very low budgeted film with mostly actors with limited experience. Because of this, I tend to cut the movie some slack. Sadly, many reviewers have savaged the picture and have created the impression "Stasis" is horrible...which it isn't. It has some clever ideas and works provided you aren't expecting what you'd see in a $200,000,000 space epic! The story begins in the hellish future. Things are awful and most of the people died as a result of wars. Now a totalitarian regime is in power and a small group of radicals are trying to undo this by manipulating time. Using volunteers, they send folks back in time in order to prevent this awful future from ever taking place. Some of the acting is a bit weak, but again this is a cheaply made film and they gotta learn somewhere. My feeling is if you don't mind a few rough spots, give it a watch. It's now streaming on Netflix.
This was perhaps the worst movie I've ever seen. If some algorithm suggests this movie to you, and you're not on the MST3K payroll, never trust that algorithm again.
