The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

We did not know what to expect when we rented this film last year. I'm sad and embarrassed to say that, at that time, we were not familiar with actor Brent Butt but we immediately loved him in this film! We enjoyed every second of this comedy! Brent is hilarious as the unassuming salesman accidentally thrown into the life of a P.I. David Koechner is hilarious in every movie - and a real treat as Brent's crazy best friend. After we rented this movie and enjoyed it so much, we had to buy the DVD, and we've watched it twice since then. A good comedy like this can be watched again and again. There are too many hilarious moments to even comment on. The editing is perfect and the movie moves so fast - never a dull moment! The clever writing/dialogue and Brent's narration during his detective work is hilarious! The entire cast is absolutely perfect! This film will not disappoint! The world needs more comedies like this! Enjoy! P.S. Please make a sequel, Brent!

I gave this film an 8 for no other reason than I smiled the entire way through, it was certainly not brilliant like an 8 should be but it was light hearted farce that I enjoyed more than most films I have seen recently. The plot starts as basic film noir, femme fatale arrives at private dick's office in crisis, only problem is it is the office next door and the guy is a nerdy novelty sales man Very well written and never taking itself seriously, poking fun at the genre with horrible self narrations and bizarre interactions it reminded of movies like Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, The Man Who Knew Too Little and The Man With One Red Shoe.Best yet were no car chases in a modern detective film! People that gave this flick poor marks simply have no sense of humor! I'll watch it again!

I didn't go into this movie with high expectations and really wasn't disappointed, I'm not sure if this was supposed to be a comedy, drama or what and I only got as far as the first half hour before I found it to painful to watch anymore, the laughs the acting was so wooden it sounded like all the cast where literally reading from their scripts as they went, and the plot well I'm still trying to work that out which is a shame because I liked Brent Butt in Corner Gas which is the main reason I saw this movie and it was original....this is not. Amy Smarts role as the damsel in distress is average at best which probably has more to do with the poor screenplay than her acting ability and David Koechner is not much better as the friend/sidekick. If you like a movie that has clumsy endless old one-liners and innuendo then you might enjoy this, if not then look for something else

Brent Butt (Corner Gas) plays Leo Falloon, a bumbling middle-aged logo salesman who's so smitten by the mysterious blonde named Kyra (Amy Smart) who asks him to help find her missing brother that he neglects to tell her she's in the wrong office. That sets up a long-winded plot about corporate espionage in the computer game world with steely eyed corporate chiefs and an over sized goon. Butt is a decent word-spinner and self-deprecating funny man, but the decision to have the rest of the cast play it straight maybe is not the best decision. A few scenes of Leo Fallon exchanging banter with his buddy Ernie (David Koechner of Get Smart & Anchorman 1 and 2), prove more rewarding than the cliché murder plot that occupies most of the movie. The overall rating of the movie is good, taken you are ready for a little bit of smirking chuckles. No Clue is definitely worth watching, you should also have a look at his performance in Corner Gas which is very original.
