best movie i've ever seen.

The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

I stumbled upon this movie by accident. I find it really cleverly written. I assumed a woman wrote a script and the credits confirmed my thinking. Due to commercials I was not able to read credits. Completely off topic, but I enjoy reading the opening credits but in my country(Croatia), commercial televisions do not let us read them which I find horrible and rude to the creators of all movies. However, let me return to the movie. Amber Tamblyn is an excellent actress which is proved yet again in this little gem of psychological study on teenage behavior and love problems. It just proves that honesty pays in the long run even among teenagers. I am going to buy this movie. The script is well managed. One can really sense that the script writer loves all her characters and wants to understand them. I would strongly recommend this movie to all of my friends who like well-written scripts.

This movie was...terrible. I rented it from the store I work at because I thought it looked interesting, and I was just so disappointed. At the bottom of windows media player, I have a little timer that shows how much time is left in the movie. With twenty minutes left, I realized that I didn't care about any of the characters. I barely knew them! The only character that showed any development was Sean, and that was him turning into a complete jerk for no reason.The movie makes no sense. Why would this chick ditch her best friends for a guy after knowing him for like two days, and continue to stay with him even after he starts treating her like trash? "I'M OFFERING YOU ME FOR THE FIVE OF THEM, WENDI!" Who cares? What is this guy,some kind of uber-boyfriend? And why was everyone in the movie so creepy? Also, the little brother had no point in the movie. He shows up for like a few minutes and completely creeps out Sean, then later on gets the hots for his mom. Then all of a sudden, BAM. The dad tells him that it's 'not a good time', and we never hear about that again. What, did Sean's parents disappear? The subplot is never resolved! It had some interesting dialogue, and it was kind of cool how the clique was just a microcosm of life as a teenager (or the media's portrayal of it, at any rate), but I just found myself bored watching this movie. If you're ever awake at 3 A.M. and have homework due, but decide to watch a movie instead, don't watch this one. It's unrealistic, uninteresting, and every single character will weird you out. Blah.

I just recently saw the movie Normal Adolescent Behavior, I saw the commercial for the movie, and thought it looked really interesting. I thought the movies theme was great, "group sex" is something that isn't very uncommon these days, some people think that the movies tries to portray all teenagers, but in actuality it just portray a single "family" of friends, and should not be taken in offense. I thought the story line was great, some other people think that the story was "jumpy" and switched moods fast, but thats what teenage life is like, one minutes content, the next erratic, so it really portrayed teenage life correctly. Anyways, i really enjoyed the movie, and the acting was wonderful.

I thought this movie was absolutely wonderful! Shocking, but honest. It really shows how teenagers are in our society today dealing with sexuality. And I love the uniqueness of it. Most filmmakers wouldn't dare make a movie dealing with polygamous issues but I'm certainly glad that this one did because it was great. Very clever and entertaining all the way through. And the best part was that the teens looked real, like real teenagers as opposed to mid-twenty somethings playing them. They were all relatively attractive young people but none of them were super models and I was so ecstatic about that aspect because most people DON'T look like super models. It was nice to see 'normal' people in a movie for once. I would have liked to see more of some of the other group members but they do show enough so that you can get a good idea of what type of person each of them is. There are so many little jokes tossed in there and if you are paying attention you'll notice. Its hilarious, some of their comments about things going on. The ending is unexpected...and...I admit...almost unsatisfying, BUT it makes sense and works out almost so that everyone and no one gets their way. It also is somewhat open ended, which is always nice for any movie because an audience always enjoys hypothesizing a little bit. All in all it was a great movie and I definitely recommend it! definitely recommend this movie. :)
