I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Sadly Over-hyped
Good story, Not enough for a whole film
It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
Some of the worst acting I've ever seen. I finished the movie out of morbid fascination. Monica Keena was a constant disappointment with her inability to deliver lines without seeming to have to use cue cards. I'm a post-apocalyptic movie fan with the ability to sit through the most horrific plot lines and acting but this was truly painful. It was almost as if the actors were told to improvise throughout. The scenes with the captain and his two cohorts on the deck piloting the ark were possibly the worst scenes of the movie. The captain's face whenever the ark was tossed about was completely hilarious. It brought to mind Captain Kirk and his crew being tossed about on the Enterprise .... The acting on Star Trek was much more believable, however. Moving on to the next b-rated catastrophe.
I'm not sure what possessed me to rent this movie - maybe the delightfully flaky Ms Keena; maybe a reaction against 2012; maybe I thought it was another film... anyway a flood of biblical (and physics-defying) proportions threatens the entire world so the American Navy builds several arks to save humanity and all the creatures that we've subjugated.Least favourite moments : pseudo-science explanation of how two turbines the size of Harley Davidsons can power and steer a million tonne ark; people survive getting hit by a hundred foot king wave then tread water like they're in a pool; the scene with the survivalists that kept switching to its mirror image.Favourite moments: When the Admiral says (to Ms Keena's sodden Doctor character) "get out of those wet clothes!"; when the captain asks "did the Admiral make it on board?" five days after they cast off! Hmm... that's it.See it if you like: mockbusters!
I am new to Netflix and have some time to waste at the moment, so after watching 1 random movie, I simply click on the next one recommended as the credits start rolling. Well, I don't know where to begin....I guess the reason I watched this flick all the way to the end was more out of morbid curiosity than anything else. Curious as to whether it was maybe an April fools joke or something similar. However, it then dawned on me that the makers of this movie actually believed they where making a real movie, yet it was just wrong in so many ways, from the plot, to the special effects, to the acting. It is officially the new worst movie I have ever seen, and I watch a lot of movies. This one is going to stay with me for a while, yet I don't regret having watched it as I know I could have stopped at any time. So, I would only 'recommend' this movie if you have time to waste, or you are stoned....cause maybe then it might actually be funny.
Wow,the worst movie I ever watched as far as I can remember. This one has nothing good. Even the Intro here on IMDb is wrong. It talks about a tectonic shift but its a storm front. I just wonder where the storm is drawing all the water from to flood the whole world, Mars maybe? They save DNA from honey bees and bees to save the world? What about cattle? And the storm grows exponentially, every day 200 miles ^^. They even flipped over science and physics. They build a ark out of concrete walls, nice ;) The only thing which was a little, but just a little bit, realistic, was the first couple minutes when the 4 people cruised around in the so called "Sahara Desert"...Don't watch it....
