What works is commendable performances and well-choreographed action stunts.As Pintu( Arjun Kapoor) supports Radhika( Sonakshi Sinha) who escapes from the hell of local mafia Gajendra Singh(Manoj Bajpai), he falls in love with her and must fight to protect herDirected by Amit Sharma, Tevar is a typical love story we have seen on Indian screen times. The screenplay is poor with unnecessary inclusion of songs cause hindrance to the movement of the film. The director had made sure to make a masala potboiler for front- benchers and creates a senseless caper. Cinematography is eye- catching. Editing could have been better. However , action sequences played by Arjun Kapoor , dialogues with witty one-liners are good. The actor gives good performance with serious tone in his voice. He should probably work on his looks to have conventional hero attitude. Manoj Bajpai does well in the negative role. Sonakshi Sinha is fine. There is very fine line between courage and stupidity. This film tries to show courage but outcome is stupidity. I am unable to understand that what was that, which lured makers to buy remake right of Telgu film Okkadu, or have they changed this one so much that soul of original is dead? Director Mr. Amit Ravindranath Sharma is technically apt but creatively not. Story is very old and routine. Screenplay by Director himself and Shantanu Srivastva offers some new approach towards old happenings. Dialogues by Shantanu Shrivastava is good. Major drawbacks of this film are love scenes and action scenes, which had to be the backbone. You never feel the reason behind love. Both protagonist and antagonist almost fell for her as if any one can fell for her and go up to extent of sacrificing life. If you protect a person then you have to fall for!? Action sequences are just for violence. Neither approach is new nor visuals. Actor builds up tension by his performance but his vow to remain in undergarments makes it funny. You wont be able to feel the tension or fun at all. Same way, they show love song in a chasing sequence. Again you neither enjoy the love track neither the thrill. Festival Holy is inserted just for visual enhancement but when they travels to another city, their vehicle has full stains of color but this city is too far from any note of color, when it was supposed to be the same day or next day of Holi. Climax is lengthy and boring. The chemistry between Hero and her sister is very good and maximum credit goes to the actress who performed the sister character. Performance wise again Manoj Bajpayee is outstanding. You love his performance and presence on screen even playing negative character. His performance at the time of interval again shows his caliber. Arjun Kapoor is good. Sonakshi Sinha is fine. Raj Babber, Rajesh Sharma are OK. Subrat Dutta as Kakdi is very good. The actress, who played Pinki, lead actor sister is very impressive. Music by Sajid-Wajid is good.

There is nothing to say about this "2 Rs" Bollywood Romantic movie. This is a terribly poor remake of the south film 'okkadu' The Review is given below.Good things about Tevar :- 1) The brother-sister chemistry 2) Manoj Bajpayi 3) MusicBad things about Tevar :- 1) Sonakshi Sinha 2) Below average Acting by the leads 3) Awful Climax scenes 4) Boring Action sequences & Dialogues 5) Not a great Screenplay 6) Narration of the story is not good enough. Film gets lost at some point of time.Review - 1.5/5Strongly Recommended not to waste your time on this. Go and watch some brilliant films like 'PK' and 'UGLY' running on theatres currently!

Goissue ! Was that even a movie?? :( My girl insisted me to watch this in place of ugly! I shouldn't have listened her and could have not wasted my money! I thought it will be a political action comedy film... But it's Ishaqzaade all over again without the Charming Parineeti Chopra and a goon chasing them rather then their parents! Cinematography is good.. But all you will see is Taj Mahal in every scene! Sonakshi Sinha has no other work then playing Damsel in distress Or meaningless roles so this time also it's not different, Arjun's Performance is mediocre and repetitive and no need to mention Manoj Bajpayee, He is good as always! There are few scenes which makes you laugh but rest is disaster! Songs are also not ear pleaser so there is not even a single reason to watch this film... I don't go out of theater before movie finishes but today I really wanted to!! Better You miss this film and don't even watch later on TV... It's just waste, utter waste!!!
