Very disappointed :(
A Major Disappointment
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
The heroic fight of an adolescent girl while trying to overcome personal drama is told in a wonderful metaphor with exactly as much special effects needed. and the moment, the titan arises from the ocean at the end is one of the big film moments in history. I see there are people who rate this film with 1 star. But then there´s also nail fungus.
We came here to watch a FANTASY movie. First one hour is fine, i couldn't understand is it real or girl's dream. Then everything goes to a drama movie. As a drama, its really good, but you should say it, IT WILL BE A DRAMA MOVIE, NOT A FANTASY.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well acted. Good flow in the storyline. I've only seen Zoe in action movies and was surprised I saw her in this. Almost couldn't believe my eyes.
What a well made, beautiful movie of a young girls struggle. Too bad for the people who were hoping for harry Potter 14 and were set with both feet on the ground by this movie
