Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
It's been 10 years since John Connor saved Earth from Judgment Day, and he's now living under the radar, steering clear of using anything Skynet can trace. That is, until he encounters T-X, a robotic assassin ordered to finish what T-1000 started. Good thing Connor's former nemesis, the Terminator, is back to aid the now-adult Connor … just like he promised.

Memorable, crazy movie
I'll tell you why so serious
Yo, there's no way for me to review this film without saying, take your *insert ethnicity + "ass" here* to see this film, like now. You have to see it in order to know what you're really messing with.
I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
I was curious when I heard this movie was coming out, but after watching it I wasn't too impressed. Sure, it had decent action and a good storyline, but it felt unnecessary and forced. And Sarah Connor was out of the picture. The whole plot felt like a rehash of T2: Judgment Day and not a good one. T3 felt more like a remake than a true sequel. The old Terminator stole the show, but nothing felt good anymore. This was before Arnie became California's governor, but I'll stick with his movies. Especially the first two Terminators.
Impressive visuals! The actions scenes are really incredible and all-out spectacular. The (sometimes silly) humor was actually quite funny, too, especially with Arnold's very dry sense of humor that comes across so hilarious. Just like the previous films, this is non-stop action and excitement from beginning to end. Loken was fantastic as the antagonist. Yes, the film does feature the 'destroy-as-much-as-possible' action sequences Hollywood action films are known for, but it does actually work well in these films.
Terminator 2 is one of my favorite films of all time. Perfectly cast and paced. Great balance of action and humor. This is not that. I recently went back to this for the first time in maybe a decade. I saw it in the cinema when it first came out and thought it was pretty mediocre. On viewing it again, I can say it is alright. It doesn't really feel like a terminator film but there are some good action set pieces and nice twists that make up for it.If you are are willing to look past its flaws (and there are two pretty cringy/bad moments) it is not as bad as you might have heard.
I enjoyed this movie, it was a fun ride the whole way, it was engaging and get me interested and suspicious of what was to happen next. However, I couldn't help but feel the whole way through that it was just an updated version of Terminator 2 but with better effects. The actors were great, Arnold I loved again, but I feel it was too similar to T2 to gain a higher rating from me.
