Watch The Illusionist For Free

Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

"Everything you have seen here has been an illusion". it's the best quote I've ever heard in a movie especially now in a fake world with fake leaders, incidents, people and almost everything around us.actually it's not a call for skepticism, but for expecting everything could happen, reading between lines and how you can control others. For the movie, the direction is at its best. it's a joyful journey in the world of magic with great cinematography and wise performances. background score is suitable for the mood of the movie making you wait for what is gonna happen. What really impressed me is the climax, and what a climax! if you haven't watched it yet, go and give it a watch now at least for once :)

In this romantic drama, Norton and Giamatti give fantastic performances as there characters (Eisenheim and Uhl) play a game of cat and mouse. The script is great, the acting (as per mentioned) is great and the cinematography is especially great. The biggest problem I have with this movie is you see the ending coming from a mile away but the ride to the ending is definitely a fun one. The score is also very beautiful and membroble. All in all if you like drama's the Illutinost is a must see.

This Movie is my all time favorite which i have seen more then 10 times. The Illusionist is infectious mix of drama, mystery and romance. t's an exquisitely crafted period picture that keeps promising more and more as it goes along--smarter ideas, richer themes, spookier plot twists--and keeps delivering on every promise, right up until the rug- pulling and overly hasty final sequence. Eisenheim's storybook romance with Sophie (Jessica Biel), the childhood sweetheart now expected to become Leopold's princess, is the most compelling thing about a film. Sophie in childhood says when they were caught together "Make us Disappear" and when Eisenheim is back as a grownup he tells Sophie during one of his performance "Perhaps i will make you disappear" that rang a bell for Sophie, astonishing way to tell her that he is back. Overall a brilliant piece of work.
