Best movie ever!

There are women in the film, but none has anything you could call a personality.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

I love Zombies done well & they did them very well. I think some of the low ratings came from people who didn't understand what they were watching. Just remember to think Novice Video Gamer as you watch. This is the first movie (think game levels) & the main character is a novice (gamer) so he makes mistakes & he loses his weapons too often... I don't play that way but a novice gamer might. This movie is meant to be fun - like a video game! And it is!!! BONUS: Rob Riggle is HILARIOUS!

Hubby says 'worth a watch but should have left it at the game'! I say 'worth a watch...the rating of 5.2 put me off...but watched anyway. Zombie acting wasn't as good as I'd have liked ( but when you have watched walking dead, it's pretty hard to follow) there are a few times when you are literally screaming at the screen because the main character is standing around when a 'normal' person would have either s##t there pants/died/or got the f##k outta there. Overall half decent film.

Dead Rising is a popular zombie themed third person action/adventure franchise from Capcom. Dead Rising: Watchtower is a boring, half assed, generic c-grade zombie movie.What is genuinely upsetting about this movie is that it could have been something special if it actually used the campy themes and over the top action of the video games, but instead it's almost paint by numbers-esque in it's execution, with only very minor details lifted from the game.Porn parodies have more in common with the source material than this movie.Also Rob Riggle as Frank West does not work at all and whoever wrote the character for this movie has never played the games as his attitude and lines are all kinds of wrong.Don't bother with this one.

It is just a movie to me.. you don't feel the scare & excitement. The effects were not that real. The actors were not serious they just act especially the TV presenter & that writer setting next to her also the sequence of the situations are expected and boring unlike other movies. Also they just want to get rid of the actors in a very old fashion way (for example the mother and her daughter she didn't care about losing her daughter in the beginning of the movie but then she showed later that she wants her so bad. Also that man one who killed by nife. Also the reporter who took pictures of the Asian family without showing some tears and when they killed she cried) !?!?
