Best movie ever!
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
What you have is a good sequel starts where part ll left off very good make up fx interesting story. The director tries to engage you make you care about the characters, here is where the actors fail. I can suspend belief for nearly any movie but Robin Dunne just isn't convincing the federal agent just recites his lines. Most of all some tighter editing to help pick up the pace of the film would have really helped. With all that said, still it earns a 6 out of 10 its not garbage or trash or Super cheesy, many good elements the director even displays some style and technique movies like this usually aren't very good but I would say watch it!
Third "Species" film is a definite step-up from Part II,(an appalling waste of celluloid). Story picks up at the end of that sequel, as Sil is abducted by a college professor, who wants to perfect the Species for his own reasons, and how he enlists the help of a talented student to make this happen, only to find them pursued by other (previously unmentioned) aliens who also want to continue the original plan of reproduction as a form of conquest over the Earth. Two beautiful actresses on display here(Sunny Mabrey & Amelia Cooke) who are certainly appealing, but the story serves no real purpose anymore, with highly variable F/X, and an overlong plot that has quite a few lulls, though a smattering of thrills. Thoughtful final scene cannot save this otherwise routine film.
After creating a bio-engineered woman from alien DNA gathered from previous generations, one of her creators sets out to protect her from another genetically-created mutation intent on using her to create a purer race of creatures.A not-all-that-bad sci-fi entry that wisely decides to turn into a T&A fest to hide the fact that all it's real good parts are stuffed into the ending. Since the film spends a large amount of time dealing with the biology of the girl and what they can do to make it viable in further tests, with only the occasional interaction otherwise shoehorned into the film to keep us from getting bored, it does give off it's hand that there's not a whole lot going on here during these parts save for the nudity. When it introduces it's other main threat in the other alien, it gets a lot more interesting due to a lot more action elements being brought in, which makes for some good times to be had when it relies on it's stalking, chasing and brawling with the two creatures, oftentimes in full alien garb so it looks even more impressive. Otherwise, this one was just a decent-enough entry.Rated UR/R: Continuous Full Nudity, Graphic Violence, Graphic Language, several Sex Scenes and an alien Rape Scene
I was slightly disappointed by this movie: it wasn't as violent, not as scary and no where near as much sex. All this movie has is slight violence, female nudity and just kissing. I haven't seen the ending and I don't intend to. The first Species movie was extremely strong in sexual content, so what the fuc* was this? Species is like almost xxx porn which I like but this? oh no this is nothing! I only saw one scene of violence, I got an erection in the scene where she was naked but in the 1st one I had an erection through out most of the movie. I don't like this movie, I mean the Species 1 movie had oral, anal and vaginal sex scenes, a blow-job scene, male rape scenes and a hotel sex scene. This had nothing. 4/10 is a good rating for this poor movie.
