I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Best movie ever!
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
This very dark kid's cartoon tells a trite and predictable good versus evil story, with owl-enslaving owls who talk about conquest and purity set against owls who just go around being noble because that's just what they do.There are really good moments in this movie, including a terrifically exciting escape scene and an amusing bit with a porcupine soothsayer, and the animation is technically very well done, even if I find this sort of hyper-realism rather dreary, but overall this is a rather dull Star Wars wannabe.
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole is one of the most crisp, smart, and entertaining animated films I've ever seen! The dialogue, script, voice acting, and the animation design in and of itself is all so high quality. Nothing less than the best from this film! The storyline really caught me and captivated me. It's also funny at certain moments, and then it's frightening at others. The fight sequences and the action is all very exciting and fun to watch on the big screen. There are even certain plot twists that are pretty neat and cool, but I will not spool them for you, you will have to trust me and tune in for yourselves! And My goodness, I'm shocked this film didn't get some major awards for its stunning visuals! Just by the poster you can tell that it is most definitely a visually stunning movie to enjoy! This family targeted animation is definitely one you will not wanna miss. It's one of the greatest, go and see for yourself that I'm telling the truth ;) 9/10.
Young owl Soren gets pushed off the branch by his jealous brother Kludd. They both fall onto the ground. They are captured by owls Jatt and Jutt and taken to St. Aegolius to work for the Pure Ones. There the young owls are divided into pickers and soldiers by Queen Nyra. Soren is forced into being a picker for protecting a small owl named Gylfie. Kludd abandons him to be a soldier. Pickers are forced to sort through owl pellets for metal flecks. Gylfie helps Soren avoid being moon-blinked, a catatonic state from sleeping under the full moon. Soren and Gylfie escape with the help of Grimble to warn the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. The owls look gorgeous. The CG animation is detailed and entrancing. Director Zack Snyder has bumped the technical envelop forward. The drawback in this is the complicated story. The plot is overstuffed and feels messy even in its short 97 minutes running time. The problem is that the movie keeps introducing new characters. The action is fast with the Snyder slow-mo style and the fights are violent. Most of the time, it is possible to keep track of the characters. The name are a little harder to remember.
I'd heard that this movie is surprisingly dark. Well, it isn't that bad. Sure it's got some themes that are quite heavy for a kid's movie, but so do classic Disney animations (The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast). Legend of the Guardians is your basic fantasy adventure with a kind, young protagonist and his wacky companions. They must fight a villain who's assembling an army of bad guys and the protagonist's brother chooses The Dark Side. The thing is, all the characters are cute owls. They look gorgeous - you can see every feather stirring in the wind. All the visuals are pretty much breathtaking (for an animated film). There are some fight scenes but nothing really graphic happens. The owls wear funny pieces of armor and it's implied that they tear each other apart with their talons but the film is bloodless. In the end everybody learns a lesson. The story is based on a young adult fantasy novel. Personally I would've preferred an animation film like this based on Redwall.
