The greatest movie ever!
When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
"Pan-dane to Tamago-hime" or "Mr. Dough and the Egg Princess" is a 12-minute animated short film by Studio Ghibli and as it is from 2010, it is one of Miyazaki's pretty recent works. This little movie is basically Studio Ghibli in a nutshell: The animation is really strong, the story is pretty absurd, but it works because of all the fantastic creatures included in here. Lets have a look, shall we? It takes place in a world of rabbits where an evil big-breasted witch (that surely reminds you of somebody) holds captive a little egg creature, apparently a princess. But a resilient dough managed to help the princess and flee with her when the which is sleeping. Oh well, now that I think of it, it may not be any more absurd than some of the tales from the Brothers Grimm. Anyway, this was a pretty good watch. Luckily, there is no dialogue in here, so you don't need to understand Japanese to see it. All you hear is a solid soundtrack while watching the action. I recommend this one. Thumbs up and it seems really true that Miyazaki always delivers.
