I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.

It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

What on earth happened in the end? And do these people know that a minute has only 60 seconds and not like 600? The minutes in this movie beat those of microwave, bakers and gym equipments. The real-life lessons: Don't owe money to people. Don't try to be a perfectionist. So not want deep or brain picking lessons in this movie that one could reflect on.Plausibility: very low. How can two people only create all this technology and have this advanced plan that seems to work well until you know the hero of the movie destroys it. Two people alone are not plausible, the movie should have shown the team, the crew, the supporters of whatever to make it more believable. Chatter analysis, development and depth: no character is deep enough. Some reasons for their behaviour are presented but they are not articulated enough to make us care about those reasons or at least understand them. Acting: why?!, why did they give Noel Clarke the leading role? I can't remember having seen worse acting in a very very long time. He is juts so antipathetical. He doesn't make you care about him at all. Ian Somerhalder was great but I must say seeing him in the role of the villain is a bit cliché and since he has done that (the role) for a very long time, his acting can't be called impressive. Plot/ Storytelling: I think the storyline is presented quite smartly. You don't know what is happening just like Ryan doesn't and with every episode you learn a bit more just like Ryan does. I liked this way of telling the story. What I did not like was the ending. Like when by chance in the last 10 seconds they discover the doctor so that they can kill him and get the hero ending. The fighting scenes.Oh dear. Worst fighting scenes I have ever seen in a movie. All the slowing for very unimpressive moves. They were just bad.

Noel Clarke thinks he's Will Smith, turns out he isn't.This is a poor, predictable, sci-fi romp which appears to be an excuse for Noel to be the tough but sensitive guy at every opportunity. All the major plot lines are here; convenient snippets of information learned by the 'hero' through the film, dead wife (for no apparent reason), acts a tough guy while on a mission to save a child, the only woman to appear more than once falls in love with him, last minute twist, it just goes on and on, and on.......*yawn*You can't help but think that Noel had to direct the film too because no-one but Noel could make Noel such a hero.

The storyline was not perfect, but it was not the problem, instead it was the script. Having the lead character being also the director probably didn't help either. You see, The Anomaly is a sort of a Memento thing. A man wakes up in strange circumstances not remembering how he got there. He fights Eatern European mafia, the police, kidnaps kids and psychotic doctors, all the time not knowing what is happening to him. He has to piece it all together and find a way to escape his nightmare.Unfortunately, the confusing moments of the character are also confusing for the viewer, with the amateurish writing spoiling things further. I really like the people in the cast: Noel Clarke of Doctor Who and Prodigy's Invaders Must Die fame, Ian Somerhalder from Vampire Diaries, Brian Cox, Alexis Knapp, even Chris Hemsworth's brother. The props and effects were also OK. Too bad everything was not properly put together.Bottom line: felt like a bad Doctor Who episode, without Doctor Who. The cast did decent, but in the end the writing and probably directing messed it all up. Can be entertaining and it is more original that most movies lately, though.

I have seen a lot of indie movies. And seen a lot of high budget movies that are bad as well. And this movie is totally watchable in my opinion. No it is not a great movie by any means. The acting is "good". meaning it could have been better, but it was acceptable throughout the movie...The problem with this movie is how it is telling it's story. This kind of movie has the "it had great potential" but unfortunately has it's flaws. When you watch this, you will be asking yourself a lot of questions, like how or why.. And at the end, you feel like there is huge plot hole. I would love to give some examples, but i really want you to watch the movie yourself, and fill in the blanks yourself."Should i watch this movie?" : YES. "Is the story good?" : YES, but lacks explanation.
