A lot more amusing than I thought it would be.

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

I have seen many rubbish movies, just look at my reviews for the Seltzer and Friedburg abominations. I have seen many cheesy movies, just look at my reviews for the High School Musical trilogy. But never have I ever seen a rubbish, cheesy movie such as this one before. The story was pretty much recycled and has been done many times before in the past, the characters are tedious and uninteresting, it was very predictable and the funny scenes were just painfully not funny. You thought you'd cringe while watching High School Musical? This will have you cringing every ten seconds. The acting is almost terrible, Demi Lovato being the only one who can act better than all of the cast. The Jonas Brothers were awful actors, they should stick to music…well…no they shouldn't but still, you get the idea. The songs were instantly forgettable except for one which would have been better sang by a different person, the singing is like I was watching karaoke or the auditions for The X Factor and the dances actually weren't so bad, probably the only good thing I can say about the movie.All I can say is thank God it's over! I was kind of expecting it to be bad but I didn't expect it to be this bad and it was torture watching it. You could probably use this for a trap in one of the Saw movies. "Hello, I want to play a game. You are now tied up to a chair in front of a television. On the television, Camp Rock will be playing all the way through, you have to endure it. Live or die, make your choice."…actually, I'm on to something there, how do you contact the writers of the Saw movies? I think this puts Freddy Kruger to shame of being the ultimate scariest nightmare. Anyway, avoid if you can and if you have kids, God help you! The story follows Mitchie Torres(Demi Lovato),an aspring young musician who is hoping to become a professional singer.Mitchie wants to go a music camp named ''Camp Rock''. Since the family can't afford the tuition, Mitchi's mother arranges to cater food for the camp,thus allowing Mitchie to attend. Mitchie tries to conceal this from her friends at camp. She is shy to sing in front of people. Spoiled brat/pop star Shane Gray(Joe Jonas) has been assigned to be in charge of dance class for one month at Camp Rock by his band mates Jason(Kevin Jonas)and Nate(Nick Jonas). Shane hears Mitchie singing and falls in love with the voice, but does not know the identity of the singer. Shane spends much of the film searching for the girl with the voice. Shane and Mitchie have various interactions, and,when Shane learns her identity,a romance between the two blossoms.(^^) Mitchie Torres(Demi Lovato)is a girl who hope to be a singer some day. Her dream is to go to CampRock, but her family cannot afford the expensive camp.The only way she could go was if her mother would be the cook, and she tries to hide that fact in fear of rejection. This movie is very interesting, and a work like the musical. If you want to see paying attention to music at the same time if you see this movie.

I liked it. I loved all there songs and the way they did things as far as filming. location, cool events, plot, and music. I'm ready for the next one. The only thing i ask is that they should try to be as original as possible People are already comparing high school musical & camp rock. I think my favorite characters is mitchie, caitlyn, peggy, and ella. Mitchie is cool. Caitlyn is a trip. You gotta love peggy. Peggy is cool because she breaks out of the infamous shadow of tess. Ella is just ella. Camp Rock is different because first of all, it has a whole lot of twist. You have a falling star who was a camp rock member once. You have a girl that has a dream about making music, but needs to just just be herself. Her True self. Then, you have a jealous girl who tries her best to get all the attention, tries to go with this famous star, and has hidden problem. You have caitlyn who is important to mitchie and very close to her. It's just a great movie all together. And they're coming out with another one that's gonna premiere this year, ironically so is high school musical!!! Ah... I can't wait. 10 Stars!!!

This guys called the jonas brothers thinks that they play rock, but they're very wrong, that stupid music is called pop!!! pop and no rock!!!... i hate that all the girls are in love of those stupids XD... oh my god if there is another movie of the jonas brothers, i really hate them, they are just part of Disney, and Disney is for girls, i just like the Disney pixar movies, they are good, but the movies of Disney for the TV and the movie theatre are stupid, jonas brothers 3d, camp rock, cheetah girls. all that stupid movies, i really hate them XD... i have not watched this movie, and i will never watch it in all my life!!... i wont watch it also if there is someone trying to shoot me if i don't watch it, i prefer die to watch stupid things... thnx
