Very disappointing...
Just what I expected
Absolutely Fantastic
Yo, there's no way for me to review this film without saying, take your *insert ethnicity + "ass" here* to see this film, like now. You have to see it in order to know what you're really messing with.
Sean Connery's son, Jason Connery, stars in this third film in the Wishmaster franchise about an evil wish granting genie (or Djinn). The first sequel was surprisingly entertaining with a story about the Djinn wreaking havoc in a prison. This third sequel about the Djinn once again getting released and again trying to start the end of the world is less fun. This entry is set on college campus, but really doesn't offer much. The special effects are weak, the black humor seems to be absent, and worst of all Andrew Divoff is missing as the evil Wishmaster. You're best off skipping this sequel.
Considering I haven't watched the previous movies and don't watch many old time horrors this movie was great. The storyline was good and kept you thinking throughout the whole movie but was also pretty predictable which occurs in most movies now anyway. The Gore and the graphics were good considering it was made quite a few years ago and isn't as horrifying as say ghost ship but still good graphics. The movie jumped strait into the story line with not much back story but it worked for this movie and was very glad I didn't need to watch the previous movies to understand what was going on. Overall very excited to watch number 4 and will defiantly give older movies a chance in the future.
,,,,,,,,,,, compared to the other last two movie in the series. I found the plot in this, way to silly even for the Wishmaster series and they tame down on the gore as well.I love gory kills in the first two movie, that what makes these movies more fun, that is another reason, why I didn't like it.As it was not fun to watch at all, like the other in the series. I hated the effect and that there new actor playing The Djinn, I just could not get used to him playing this role. he nothing compared to NathanielDemerest who fitted the role perfectly. The acting in this movie was not too bad, better then I expected to be. Also hated the ending of this what really poor way to end. 3 out of 10 (That 3 Points are for the acting)
Then this is an OK movie. Not horrible to watch, several close ups of A.J.'s eyes. Even a nipply shot at the start. All in all not a bad way to spend a few minutes looking at her. Oh yeah, there's some bad guy monster thingy too. She sets it free? by accident and he becomes obsessed with her. Well really, who wouldn't be immediately smitten with Miss A.J.? The plot was thin-ish. Acting was, erm, just OK. BUT we get to see A.J. a whole lot! :) The rest of what was in here was fluff. The SFX were just OK, not gross or believable. There was some nudity but not from our heroine. I'd watch it again. In a dark room just to see A.J. doing her thing... looking AWESOME! :)
