Good start, but then it gets ruined

Best movie ever!
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
and, maybe, little more. because it is one of films with Jean - Claude Van Damme for the public who ignore/hate his filmography. he is the story, the script, the pillar and the axis of a bizarre ( for no say boring or awful ) comedy who reminds the Lord of the Flies and must be a satire against corporatism and for to live yours dreams. sure, far to be convincing but to see Adam Brody and Van Damme in the same film is a gift not so bad. sure, it is easy to define it as a crap. but it is the perfect film after a hard job day. and this does it nice. almost nice. and good opportunity to remind old dreams about vacation in savage isle. so, see it ! only for the hard work of Van Damme.
The real-life link: The approach to how a relationship works. Lisa refused Phil because he was too direct when he told her he liked her. He was too direct because he was quite confident and did not care much of what she thought. He went after what he wanted directly. Did not leave time to for Lisa to develop any emotional attachment to him, he did not wait for the situations where they know each other more to happen and assumed a moment they shared at the airplane was enough for him to make the next move. Chris on the other hand, had a crush on Lisa but he did not make a move until he got confirmation that Lisa liked him as well. Lisa liked him when the circumstances put them in a position where she got the change to know him better. But at the end, no matter how much Lisa liked Chris things did not move to more until Chris did the first move, making Chris here the one who determined if they are going to be in a relationship or not. I have a problem with that. Movies like this give the impression that men are always the ones expected to make the first move and therefore in the real world if a woman makes the first move it is considered weird and usually freezes everything that was going on. This makes the men the one who always determines if two people are going to be in a relationship or not. Plausibility: plausibility is a joke. First, Chris would be happy to go on a trip with Lisa rather than hating the trip because Phil was going to be there. Phil would never not leave the island in the end and he would be more reasonable in the tragic situation than he was. Storytelling: well done. The story is developed in an interesting way that does not bore you. The movie is however enjoyable with scenes that make you laugh and with a plot that is not so easily predictable.
To say this movie was the biggest waste of time in the history of motion pictures would be a huge understatement.Welcome To The Jungle is another try at mixing action and comedy together, it only works if you have the right cast and crew. This however does not have anything worth watching the only reason I watch this movie was because it had Jean-Claude Van Damme and "The Blacklist" Megan Boone. Now it took me three tries to watch it and from the start I knew I made the mistake watching this film. While it may have promising to it, the film has nothing to make it worth your time. While it may not be the worst movie I ever seen it is a very awful movie. The acting in the film is not even creditable it just becomes rather boring really fast.It makes you wonder if the writers were drunk when they wrote the story for this movie.Clearly this was meant to be a direct to video release and it just goes to show that Direct to video movies are getting a bad rap not all are bad just this one is just really bad.Welcome To The Jungle is just a fail try to mix action and comedy this is a example of what happens when you got a bad script and the characters being idiots.I give Welcome To The Jungle a 2 out of 10
This movie was surprisingly original. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Sure it wasn't an amazing movie, and I don't know how re watchable it is. I wasn't expecting the movie to unfold as it had. I admit it's not a mind blowing experience but it was done well enough. It was funny but you have to be able to enjoy silly stupid and some times raunchy humor to enjoy it. I was entertained for the entire time. The beginning is a little slow but if you just have a little patience it's there to develop characters and it doesn't drag on that long. JCVD is not the focus but I didn't feel deprived of his presence either. I feel that the movie is pretty solid, even though JCVD isn't really the main character he plays a some what important role in the film. His role isn't necessarily pivotal but I feel it's balanced enough in this film. You know it's not that bad of a movie. Don't be expecting to see JCVD's finest karate performance though. It's not really about that. I didn't have high expectations and I didn't know what to expect and it was pretty good.If you want to watch something and just want to be entertained and aren't looking for something amazing but decent, this isn't a bad film to put on. I don't know if it's worth buying but it's worth a watch.
