Just perfect...
It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Wish I could vote 0 stars. This has to be the worst movie ever. It needs to be clear this is a movie about abortion. I sat here watching hoping she would change her mind and take responsibility for her actions and NOT abort her baby. Nope she ends up doing it anyway. The entire movie comments are thrown left and right making it seem like abortions are normal. In the end she does a stand up comedy show making JOKES about how she's about to have an abortion like it isnt actually a baby. This movie was crazy depressing. Never will I watch anything with any of these actors again. Definitely made me dislike them all for supporting this trash of a story line. Worst. Movie. Ever.
The story is about a beautiful innocent girl would you with her problems with her own way.of course she's the obvious child but in this childish behaviour, you see a lot more than that.they say going through life in that make you strong, maybe they're right, because after that incident you can see how she changes.the way she tried to make things right is so interesting to me and I can't get enough of it.I love this movie and I will watch it every time I feel blue and it makes me feel better
I'm not even sure why I watched this, I don't even think I read a description or watched a trailer, but it was actually more entertaining than I thought it would be.When I first saw Jenny Slate, I was ready to turn the movie off! I absolutely LOATHED her as Mona-Lisa in Parks and Recreation (although not as much as her brother!) and couldn't think of anything worse than a 90 or so minute movie with her as the lead but I was very amazed that she was really good in this!Aside from Slate, it's has a pretty good cast of actors, especially the leads, real characters with real emotions, a good and entertaining story that gets better towards the end.I was on my computer while watching this movie but found that as the film went on, I was paying less attention to the computer and more to the movie. While this was a good movie to watch, it won't be something I would watch again.
I do not tend to like typical Hollywood films (i.e., hated 'Titanic'), and in this movie, the actor as a stand up comedian - her lines really aren't that great. But this is a wonderful movie about being in your 20s, and dating/birth control/abortion etc. It drives me crazy that movies like this don't get more recognition, as compared to silly, meaningless Hollywood drama- where the guy is a prince and the girl falls head over heals and there is always a happy ending. (cute but silly....) This movie was realistic, we can relate to the characters, and brings up important social issues - quietly and with restraint (typical Hollywood movies could SO use a lesson on restraint!!!) One of the best 20 something films I have ever watched!
