Too much of everything
How sad is this?
The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
Inspetor Faustão e o Mallandro is the greatest Brazilian-based anime i have seen. I had stage 4 cancer,i was about to die,but then this anime started to play, and i instantly cured myself. It is well-paced,with incredible soundtrack, and it shows all of Faustão's adventures being a inspector. With this movie,i have noticed that Fausto Silva is the best character in history, and Serginho Malandro is also a great actor. Inspetor Faustão e o Mallandro is very underrated, and that annoys me. But still nobody is gonna remove my passion for it. This anime has lots of fillers, but still is great. I give this masterpiece a 10 out of 10.Faustão is my waifu.
Well, this film is a piece of junk, but it deserves a 10 of 10 because it is a synthesis of the mass culture (i.e. junk of the mass culture) at Brazilian 80's.Sergio Mallandro and Fausto "Faustão" Silva were major TV stars at that time and their success was based in no-sense junked TV shows for the major audiences. At 2000's, this film - and the whole 80's - is "in fashion" again, when the young adults, remember their infancy with raves called "Trash 80's".A niece piece of junk (ops, film) to see what made the 80's Brazilian people laugh.
What can be said about this absolute masterpiece of Braziliana trash? No acting, no script, no nothing - pure chaos, and with a soundtrack to match it (the "Rap do Ovo" sung by Sergio Malandro & Fausto Silva is a moment of pure bliss - must be seen & heard to be believed). For an hour or so, the viewer will be stunned with the "riveting performances" of Sergio Maladro, Fausto Silva, Costinha and a stream of forgettable names in a flick destined for cinematic glory. For those who have seen (and survived) the Mr. T self-help classic, "Be Somebody (or Be Somebody's Fool)" or any of Charles Band's grand productions, will certainly find this title more than memorable. Considering that the piece was already aimed for the trash bin at its very release, this is a very hard film to find, even, here, in Brazil - and with no DVD release in sight, finding a copy is quite a dauting task. But if you are lucky enough to stumble onto it - don't pass up the chance! This gem will certainly make your brain go mush!
Wow. What can I say about this movie? Well, it's one of the worse attempts to produce a movie. The title should be "How your movie should NOT be like".What went wrong? Well, first, the acting is bad. The major actors are NOT professional actors, and they look at the camera too much. I think Fausto Silva looked so much to the camera that the director told him to speak to the camera if that happened again (and he actually talk to the audience a lot of times in this movie)...Sergio Mallandro's character is completly useless. The music, song by Fausto Silva e Sergio Mallandro, is irritating. It never stops...The dialog is so stupid you'll think a monkey could write something better...And the scenes... Well, my favorites are: Faustao going to a Disco (yes it's 1991) wearing a tuxedo, the pepper macarroni (what was that?!), the egg drinking scene (why did they do that?), and the final scene...Well, enough said. After you see this piece of junk you'll never watch movies the same way again...
