It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

This movie was shallow and very, very predictable. Even if it's been a very long time since I watched this movie, I'd forgotten most of the scenes, but I could already predict what the ending would be during the first 2 minutes of the movie! It was just so obvious. Watch the first two minutes, I dare you, and you'll know who Jenny's going to be ending up with.Love Wrecked revolves around Jenny (Amanda Bynes) who is utterly in love with rockstar, Jason Masters. Her dreams are made when her idol checks in the resort that she works in. Thanks to some situations, she manages to get the both of them alone together, stranded in an island. The thing is, they're not really alone. Jenny found out that the "marooned island" that they're on, is actually connected to the resort! And mayhem occurs.Seeing Amanda Bynes in this movie, reminded me of her in "She's the Man", "The Amanda Show" and "What a Girl wants". If you think about it, her character is all the same. A goofy teenager who does weird faces. Sort of like Jim Carrey, only younger and not as good. I'm just saying here. I don't know if that means she's a good actress or if she's just good in acting like a "goofy teenager".I did have a few laughs. I liked the competition that Jenny and Alexis had. Aaand, that's about it. Maybe my rating was too harsh, but that's the truth. Not the best film out there. Very predictable. There's not much of a storyline here. But hey, if you just want to have a quick fun flick, this movie could be it.

Somehow, Amanda Bynes is always good in comedies, and this one does not disappoint. I love the parts where she and Jamie-Lynn Sigler fight over the rock star guy. Really funny. Bynes is not pretty but looks great in a bikini and convincing as an island-type of girl, which suits the story as it has an island resort setting.Jonathan Bennett looks handsome and very likable as the shy and nervous lovable guy who has a crush on his best friend. Chris Carmack is cool as the vain and spoilt rock star. Both guys and the girls look great on camera. Even with no story, it is great to see beautiful people running around the beach :) It is a happy movie that keeps you smiling out of the cinema. The songs aren't great but the story is sweet and light-hearted. I'm surprised by the PG-13 rating. To me it is definitely a PG movie, great for tween.

I don't even know if I spelled that right but..whatever. You get the point. I always thought she was so beautiful! I was a little surprised to see her in this kind of movie but I was even more surprised in her acting. I thought she was terrible. Maybe she just wanted a vacation. Can't say I would turn it down. But the real reason for the post was her face. Did she have work done? I guess maybe I never noticed her mouth. It seemed so out of place and horse like. A combination of bad teeth alignment and weird chin work? I don't know but it bugged me the whole movie.. Did anyone else notice this? I love amanda bynes though. She is so adorable!!!

Wow!!! What a GREAT location for a film! A nice cute story about a young girl who goes to the Caribbean for a summer job with a male friend who has feeling for her. When her favorite rock star shows up at the resort to rest up for a few days, she sets her sights on trying to meet him. The film is well shot and directed and the cast was great! I saw it at the Dominican Republic Film Festival and it was a wonderful film to end the festival. The film festival is hosted by the Sun Village Beach Resort and Spa which is the location for about 80% of the film. It really is a beautiful resort and a great spot for a vacation. Randal Klieser did a nice job with this film, and Amanda Bynes and the rest of the cast do a nice job as well.Outstanding family entertainment!
